We were after the Truffle menu set and it was great. The restaurant was a bit packed though and a bit of vibe. I did request for special arrangement for dessert by email/calling/talking to the staff on floor but unfortunately was not being noted so was disappointed with that.

Gorgeous Italian food at the heart of Leichhardt. We returned for the truffle menu and everything was incredible. The only thing to note is that service was extremely slow this visit. While we understand given how busy it was, we waited ~40 minutes for each food item to come out.

We had a lovely dining experience at Capriccio Osteria on Norton Street. We started with the octopus, which was beautifully cooked—tender, smoky, and full of flavour. For mains, we shared a pasta dish and the carbonara pizza. The pizza was a standout: perfectly balanced, crispy yet airy base, with rich, comforting flavours that hit all the right notes. The pasta, while enjoyable, felt like it needed just a bit more body and oomph to elevate it to the same level as the other two dishes. A touch more depth in the sauce or seasoning could have made all the difference. That said, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back—especially for that pizza and octopus!

My wife and I dropped in to order a couple of takeaway pizzas after finding this restaurant on Google. The person who greeted us was very friendly and invited us in to take our time ordering. The place was busy and the staff were friendly offering us something to drink while we waited. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes and it was well worth the short wait. We ordered a Margarita and a Fungi. Both were well cooked with a light and tasty dough and a delicate char. The topping on the fungi was just to my liking - well balanced. I found the cheese on the margarita slightly more than what I normally enjoy but it was still delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you guys!

What a lovely experience. My Fiancée and I ordered the Quattro pizza, added prawns to it, then we sprinkled chilli oil & lemon on top which was absolutely phenomenonal. We paired our pizza with two glasses of wine each and we absolutely loved it. Asako and Tili truly made our evening with their wonderful hospitality, friendliness and great communication. Would definitely go back and highly recommend Capriccio 🍕🍤🍷✨.
