Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is a fantastic getaway destination. Nestled in the heart of wine country, it offers stunning views of vineyards and mountains. The resort boasts excellent amenities, including two swimming pools (an adult only one too), tennis courts, a day spa, and an 18-hole golf course. The rooms are comfortable with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. During my stay, I attended a work function at the resort, and the conference facilities were top-notch and our awards dinner was beautiful. The staff was attentive and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Whether you're looking for a family vacation or a professional event, Rydges would be great. While you are there, make a booking for Muse Restaurant (2km away), it won’t disappoint.

Rydges Resort - Hunter Valley is great for couples or families. We had our wedding here. It was lovely as we could do everything there: ceremony, reception, accommodation... Our wedding guests stayed in the villas. The food was amazing and staff was super accommodating. The price for ceremony and reception was fantastic. Some guests didn't stay as the cost of accommodation was a little high as it got closer to the date. All in all, we had an amazing experience and some beautiful memories ❤️... great photography opportunities over the entire resort. Well equipped with play areas, tennis courts, pools, kids pools, games rooms, golf course and great just for walking around. It's central to all the Hunter Valley wineries. We'll definitely be back!

Booked a last minute stay at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley. Buffet Breakfast was fantastic, by far one the best buffet breakfasts we’ve had in a while. Would recommend for families - our kids loved the pool, and the service was good. Only giving 4 stars as the rooms are quite dated but we would still return.

The resort is perfect for family with young children because of the activities around the resort especially the water fun area. The spa experience was my highlight because of the massage therapist I had, her name is Roma and she was very skilled and friendly. It is probably one of the best massage I have ever had. The buffet breakfast was really good with different options and the staff were very helpful. Reception staff were helpful and maintenance staff who fixed the TV. Only improvements that I can suggest is in regards to Lovedale Bar & Grill, better food and especially the chips which you order for kids were always dry and tasteless.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip. The hotel was great, fast check-in considering how many people turned up at once. The reception staff were very friendly. The facilities for our conference were really well set up and worked well, the meals that were on offer were great with most served buffet style. The only downside was the room, we were in 537, this room was about a 5 min walk from the main conference facility area so it was a bit of an inconvenience if you wanted to duck back to your room if you had forgotten something. The location was a bit of a treck from the Sydney airport, about 2 hours by bus. Everything else was great and the rooms were all clean with comfortable beds and air conditioning in all rooms.
