Organised an outing for my workplace and decided on axe throwing as I have done it previously with friends. Great team bonding experience where you can show your competitive side and try to beat your colleagues or friends with your skills. Staff are great and give you a brief introduction to axe throwing if you've never done it before. My team enjoyed the experience.

We had an absolute blast at this axe-throwing place! Nathan and Mario were amazing—they were incredibly patient and encouraging, even with beginners like us. Mario has a talent for explaining the techniques in a way that’s easy to understand, and Nathan brought an amazing vibe that kept the whole group laughing and motivated. The facility itself it has well-maintained lanes and a great setup. Safety was clearly a priority, and they were thorough in their instructions. By the end of the session, we were hitting the target (most of the time!) If you’re looking for a fun, unique experience with fantastic staff who genuinely care about making sure you have a great time, this is the place to go. Highly recommend to anyone looking to try axe throwing!

Never thrown an axe before, and now discovered I like throwing axes. A lot. Maniax has quirky and friendly staff, really great food and a great selection of local craft beers. Try their own-branded sparkling mead too! Had a great instruction experience, and within a few minutes was checking axes like an extra off of Vikings. Also know that an hour of axe throwing is a decent cardio workout! Parking was simple as, and free. Deffo worth going to on your first date or with your partner for something different on date night! Will deffo go back for sure.

Brought my friend from America and enjoyed our time here. The instructors were awesome. Gave us lots of pointers and I love their sense of humour. Took me a bit of time to adapt but eventually I got confident and better at throwing the axes. Feels empowering. Very much enjoyed the cocktail, Nectar of the Gods. Definitely wanna take another friend here.

Great place to learn a new skill! Because you never know when you need to throw an axe at someone… Large divided play area with rules to keep everyone safe. The moderators are funny and very skilled themselves. Cute Viking decor including a throne you can pose on! A well stocked drink bar. Snacks and food also available to order (though we didn’t try) and nice seating areas for eating. Try it for fun, for team building or as a new hobby. Oh yeah, there’s also plenty of parking outside which is a big plus in the inner city.
