Great views if you’re there for the races, nice room, average food and so-so service. They aren’t geared up to provide full service for guests in quiet periods. Room service not operating on a Sunday night and the out of season staff are seriously lacking training.

Wow, what a experience. When I arrived, the first thing you notice is the view of the track. The room was very comfortable. Large bed, spa bath, full sized living room and kitchen. Free car parking - although the carparks are very tight. Overall I had a amazing stay. I can't wait to come back.

It's a decent hotel with a great location. The only thing which we didn't like was our room had a distinct smell, which may be from old carpets. Other than that good location , good breakfast and amazing location overlooking Mount panaroma.

We stayed in a deluxe spa suite, and it was great. There is plenty of room and great views of the track. Convenient location to town also. The room and hotel in general could do with a bit of an update, thus not really making it feel like a 4 star hotel (and a bit pricey), but it was a good stay. The breakfast was good too. However, could use a few more options for the price paid for it.

We stayed Kings Birthday weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.We stayed in the penthouse suite which was incredibly spacious rooms, large lounge area, fully equipped kitchen and views of the track one side and views of the countryside on the other. The king dream bed is top notch and so comfortable!! Waking up to the picturesque country side was amazing. Chicane Bar and Grill puts on a wonderful breakfast. So much choice and an absolute bargain at $20 (we had it included upon booking and received a discount). The pool and spa was closed during winter as expected (having lived in Bathurst and experienced winter here it makes complete sense). Close to Bathurst shop coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Rydges Bathurst is an absolute asset to the town. We will book for Spring soon and I cannot wait.
