No words can describe how good the food is here!! Highly recommend. The staff are super accommodating. We had a problem with our order which made us wait about an hour and half for food. However, the staff were hands down so respectful, and were quick to solve the problem for us. You can't fault quality service, and quality food. We'll be coming back on our next Newcastle trip!

Mitch is fantastic as soon as we stepped inside the place he bent over backwards to help us. This was particularly appreciated because we have our baby with us in a pram. It was New Year’s Eve and very busy inside but he found us a table and told us the best way to get through the restaurant avoiding the steps. Smiling and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu he brought over delicious cocktails that were possibly some of the best I’ve ever had at such a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Friday afternoon late lunch - great menu, $15 specials too & serve lunch till 2:30pm which is a very pleasant surprise! Had the fish tacos - very nice with a little spicy kick. Staff were great. Pub immaculately clean and just beautiful to be in.

Not many options open on a Monday long weekend so the pub was the first choice. Not a bad atmosphere and the staff were pleasant. Up market pub food so the parmigiana was the choice of the night. Not too bad. The salad was a nothing fancy and the lettuce was a little limp. The chips were good, crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. The parmigiana was a generous size. Crunchy coating, chicken well cooked and not dried out and the cheese and toppings was a nice layer on top. Please clean the floors around the bar. Very sticky. Not a bad experience and good value for money.

Do Better.... I was very disappointed, flippant staff with their share, to an incompetent manager who gave me no recourse in enacting the RSA clause, so....we left and I have told everyone of our awful discriminative service from this establishment. I think, some are confused by their inability to understand an articulated conversation and whilst being embarrassed take the offensive. Please take the time to at least explain what and why a request was so inappropriate, as I was only wanting to order drinks for the table next to me, which I was excited to see my friend's son whom used to fundraise for my daughter.
