Friendly staff at checkin, sofa bed wasn't ready as was booked but was only a few minutes to get it sorted. Handy tea making facilities. Short walk to the restaurants on the water. Pool was clean and good temp. Air con wasn't working in our room but quickly sorted. We were only there as a stop over but would have liked more time to explore the town

Wonderful stay with family. Comfortable with basic amenities. Location is excellent! Everything a few minutes away. Would like to mention Kaylee at reception, wonderful welcome on the day we checked in. Patient and friendly staff!

What an amazing stay at Centro Port Macquarie. The staff were amazing, so friendly, cheerful and helpful. The room was sensational, large, roomy and clean. The room size was important as my hubby is battling cancer and having a spacious room and bathroom was imperative. The food was amazing at the restaurant, one of the best steaks we have ever hard. The bar staff were professional and excellent. We plan to return after my hubby's next chemo treatment. A big thank you to you all at this wonderful stay at Port Macquarie . Congratulations on running an outstanding place to relax and enjoy wonderful food. Once again thank you.

Great customer service from arrival to check out. Clean room, comfortable bed and convenient location. The hotel is walking distance to the mall, shops and restaurants. Great value for money for a family accommodation at Port Macquarie. Grateful for a relaxing stay!

Check in was easy and parking was outside free (late Saturday) so no time limit. Room was ample with a large TV, balcony with chairs and two seats in bedroom area which is always good when staying longer. Air con worked well but this time of the year, not extremely hot. Towels could have been softer, but adequate. Kettle for tea and coffee with fresh full cream milk which was nice. Room was clean and tidy. Had a meal down at the restaurant, would have liked a few added items to make the menu a bit more normal like adding mixed vegetables as a standard item rather than broccolini and blue cheese sauce $14. Had buffet breakfast in the morning with standard bacon, scrambled eggs or poached eggs, mushrooms, hash browns and tomatoes. Toast, spreads, fresh fruit, apple and orange juices, a few pastries and tea and coffee. (Extra for real coffee) with good service. Booked another room for a member of our family on the same floor and they had disturbed sleep due to mites, (I have sensitive skin and had the same experience but didnt complain as it was light. It will go in 2-3 days after washing clothes). Usually the mites are found in the carpet - more hotels need to go with wooden floors or update/clean carpets on a regular basis (weekly) and not have cloth seats in room. We stay at a lot of hotels here in Australia and overseas so are in a position to compare. Hotel staff seemed to be shocked that the mites was mentioned, but besides saying we will let house keeping know, that was all. In general the hotel is central and in a good position. For myself with sensitive skin I probably would not go back, but for those who don’t enjoy.
