Reviews for White Bay Cruise Terminal

I want to acknowledge the parking concierge who was working with the passengers disembarking from the Disney Wonder on 16/1/25, around 8.30am. It was a hectic situation - extremely busy with hundreds of passengers and countless cars, plus it was a cold and windy morning with rain too, so everyone was seeking shelter. I was collecting my daughter who is a full-time wheelchair user and her travelling companion. This man ensured that I could park and open the wheelchair ramp fully to safely load my daughter into the car. I was driving a large (gold coloured) passenger van. I didn't ask for his name but he was in his 40s or 50s with grey hair, a slim build and he had an olive complexion. He was also wearing an orange coloured safety vest, not yellow. I would like to thank him for being so considerate of my daughter's needs. He and his colleagues did a fantastic job to keep the vehicles moving so that passengers could leave the terminal as quickly as possible. The terminal loses a star due to lack of adequate signage to guide first time visitors to and from the terminal. It was especially challenging in the rain as the environment became completely grey with nothing standing out, absolutely everything blended into one. Adding the remaining distance to the existing signage would be appreciated and repainting the road markings would improve safety.

Obviously going there for a cruise. The terminal itself was nice but getting there and back is not. Obviously we need to drive. There’s roadworks everywhere… the terminal itself is fine. Modern, but very long lines. But we got there in the end. Fabulous staff

Very poorly organized. Two different access roads, one with a gate house that will send you on a 10 minute detour to arrive on a non-gated road that joins the first just a few meters after the gatehouse. Very small area for drop off and pick up. No wifi at terminal. One person forming the customer line and another telling you why you can't line up there...what a mess!

A 25 minute walk to nearest public transport or $60 - $120 for a taxi to central. Very basic facilities for a cruise terminal. Very well organised taxi matching staff.

If a cruise terminal is being built in the city, surely public transport would be included in the design. Not so for White Bay. A very expensive taxi in peak hour traffic was not a good ending to our holiday. Will be more careful when booking future cruises to ensure that we never have to go there again!
