Although a bit worn (refurbishment starting end of Feb) our room was clean and balcony views beautiful, the all the staff (reception, bar and buffet ) were extremely helpful and cheerful. Would definitely stay here again. Peter and Karen

Great location. Rooms are dated and the whole place needs a good clean. Hair and mold in the bathroom, grime in the elevator, lights in lobby dirty. Staff helpful and nice. Doing their best with the hat they have.

Location location location. Do you like central air conditioning that has vents that haven’t been cleaned for a long time? Filthy windows inside and out that haven’t been cleaned in months? Zero service to the room? Want to spend $600-900 for a twin room? Broken lifts? Then this is the place for you! All jokes aside. There is some great accom in Port Macquarie for a fraction of the price. Personally I don’t care if a place is dated but keep it clean. The cheap pedestal fans in each room dead giveaway that a good amount of money is needed to be spent on the place.

Rooms are very worn. Three star at best. We disliked being challenged at breakfast over package inclusions that should have been understood by staff. Great location. I only gave two stars overall because rooms are overpriced for what is provided.

Great location on the water front however this hotel is very old and worn. Our room had dirty sheets & another guests beard clippings in the bathroom sink and floor. I asked for it to be cleaned up but still they missed the mess. Really disappointed. Looking at cancelling our return stay. The spa has seaweed floaty bits in it, was like sitting in a pot of dirty water, and had old algae/ water stains on the sides. This is a 3 star hotel at best.
