The fresh oysters were really good, with nice dressing. The Calamari appetiser was great & tender. The Chongqing (popcorn) Chicken was so tasty. They’re pricier than the usual restaurants I go too, but it’s good for special occasions. Nice ambience & great service. Kids friendly too, as they’re give activity pack for kids (or I believe you can request this).

Located at The Galleries, 1/500 George Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. 🇦🇺. The food here is always very delicious, very flavourful and the right amount of spice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and friendly. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the location is very central in the CBD of Sydney. Would definitely recommend. I don't normally leave reviews but I was very disappointed with the food. I had dinner at lotus before and it was good so I decided to bring mum there. We order the salt and pepper squid, the squid is so small and so chewy that it's like rubber. The pork belly was dry and hard. Even the salted duck egg yolk bun have little duck egg yolk favour. I did feed back to the staff about the quality of squid. Overall very disappointing.

4.5 Stars. The service and location are excellent. The food is very good and reminds me of Lilong or Taste of Shanghai. It is a little overpriced, but I would love to come back again to try more of the menu.

Popped in here and I’m sure glad we did. With no booking the team were still warm and friendly and showed us to a nice table. They spaced all the diners apart so we weren’t all grouped together. We ordered Xiaolongbao, shallot pancake and half a duck which featured table side service. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. Highly recommend giving this place a try because we definitely will again.
