Amazing place with a beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food was pricey but it did came in big portions. Overall beautiful place to hangout with lots of people

Just spent $700 at Mr Wongs (next door, also owned by Merrivale) and then was invited upstairs at the establishment until the staff saw that I (a man out of a group of 6 girls wearing shorts and skirts) was wearing shorts with a button up shirt and rescinded the offer. It is >30° and they chose to discriminate against one person based on gender when our whole group was wearing clothing that was appropriate to the weather conditions. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this as a place to visit and hope they do better in the future.

If you’re from out of town and looking for a fun, energetic, and popular vibe, this is your place. I’m from out of town and some friends took me here on a weeknight during Happy Hour. There was just enough people to make it feel busy and most of them you could tell had just got off work. We ordered a couple of starters and they came out hot and it was delicious. The drinks were a little more on the pricy side but that’s to be expected as it’s in the heart of downtown.

Saturday night bar staff looked like they didn't want to be there. We were seated and had just finished our 1st drinks when a staff member walked past and dumped a reserve sign on our table with nothing said (they just wanted the table). 2 minutes later the same staff member walked up to us interrupted mid sentence and said we need to move. We had no prior notice and the staff member was rude about it. We asked for a manager who allowed us to stay seated for a further 5 minutes... so generous. We didn't stay due to how we were treated and probably won't be back.

It was 10 minutes before closing and they refused to let my brother who was fully of age and sober, in. I saw multiple people who looked underage inside the venue. They called in a female bouncer even after I was given entry because I was trying to argue for my brother. We are brown.
