We had lunch here on Saturday (25/7/26) and honestly couldn't fault a single thing. The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection. One of the best I've had in a long time. Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. It's so nice to find a place where every dish is a winner. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Salt Bar & Bistro to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in Kingscliff!

We had a private function at Salt Bar and Charlene and the team could not have been any more accomodating to our needs. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, with plenty of it! The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and efficient. We were quite a late start so we appreciated the flexibility Charlene and the team offered us. Communication leading into our event, and on the night, was clear and timely. Would highly reccomend Salt Bar for a function!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Salt Bar for our wedding. From start to finish, the customer service was absolutely exceptional. Charlene, the function manager, was incredible — so organised, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free, always one step ahead and making sure every detail was perfect. A huge thank you as well to Kelly, who supported Charlene and kept everything running so smoothly behind the scenes. The efficiency between them both was amazing — everything flowed effortlessly on the day, which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment. The team went above and beyond for us and our guests, and we’re so grateful. If you’re considering Salt Bar for your event, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had our wedding on 27/7 and I can’t thank Charlene and the team enough for making our day so special! 10/10 service from everyone!! Charlene went out of her way to make the day an absolute breeze Even going as far as to find some last minute decorations for our reception tables, when we hadn’t had anything planned. We had to have our reception at the surf club instead of actual salt bar, as salt bar had renovations going on. But I actually am so happy it was at the surf club! Our own space and even closer to the beach where our ceremony was! The set up was amazing! And, again, Charlene made that “hiccup” a breeze. Renee at “Table Jewels” also made the process of picking our ceremony set up so easy! When we saw the set up for the first time we were absolutely stoked! So simple yet elegant Thanks Renee! Nailed it! The team at the reception (Charlene Kash and Johvan) I could not fault at all! Kash and Johvan were so friendly to us and our guests, always smiling and going out of their way to make sure my new husband and I were happy! Of course Charlene again went above and beyond to make our reception amazing, even when we stuffed up with the numbers, she quickly got those extra plates and dietary requirements out in minutes! Every one of our guests said they had an absolute blast and a lot of that is from this team! Thank you so much! I will be recommending you to anyone that is getting married in the future!

We recently our wedding at Salt Bar and we are honestly so happy with not just how the day went but the support and planning before. Charlene truly goes above and beyond for her couples, and it is clear that she loves what she does. The team on the night were professional, attentive and genuinely made the day special for both us and our guests. Renee from Table Jewels styled the beach ceremony and reception beautifully. The final result was better than imagined and she helped weeks leading up to be stress-free. We are so grateful to all that were involved in making the day such a memorable occasion. We highly recommend having your wedding at Salt Bar.
