went during their $1.50 oyster happy, they were all good I enjoyed this and recommend this. The beef tartare was a bit of an off colour and the bread it was served with made it quite difficult to eat, we didn’t have any knives to cut it up with so we just had to break it apart. The dish still had a nice taste though. The duck liver was okay as well, just served with some bread and wasn’t too overly salty, I guess plating could be improved though. The vine tomatoes were okay as well. The steak was also nice, I got the sirloin with the cafe de paris sauce. The sauce wasn’t too strong in taste. The chips were nice with it too. The duck ragu pasta was miss, I didn’t really taste much flavour and wouldn’t recommend this dish. Service was not too great either, staff weren’t particularly welcoming in my opinion. I felt as if they were trying to ignore me in a way. Overall considering the price point for the food I had some higher expectations. However I would recommend coming for the oyster happy hour.

Did you know the rock oysters are $1.50 between 6-7pm on a Wednesday, just after happy hour 5-6pm? It’s like they timed it perfectly for you to get a little buzz going with your office mates in the middle of the week before indulging in some succulent, fresh seafood. Banter with the waitstaff is pretty good too! Highly recommend!

We had dozens of oysters each on the Wednesday evening from 6-7pm 😋 - the place is real busy and packed, and the staff members are still attentive and friendly, how great is that! Service is fast and table turnover is quick. We would definitely be back for more. The oysters were definitely yummy!

This is one of those places you find by chance and pure luck, a place you remeber for quality food and great service. No problem booking a friday night table the day before. We had the freshest oysters ever and shared a few starters with crab cake, anti pasto plate, calamari, buffalo cheese with tomatoes, all fresh and to our surprise the four of us got through it all before mains of a huge tomahawk, the morrisons signature steak diane, just fantastic. To wash it all down with a delightful Henschke, to finish with a creme brule. The food was outstanding and along with good service provided a memorable experience at reasonable price point for what you get. We will definately be back to sample the rest of the menu. A great lively environment, the standout was the steak diane.

I recently visited Morrison's Oyster Bar & Grill after its renovation, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The new dining room has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the updated vibe adds to the overall experience. The food was cooked brilliantly, with most dishes hitting the mark perfectly. However, I was a bit let down by the steak, as it was advertised as steak with sauce Diane and mash, but it turned out to be a traditional steak Diane. Despite this, the wine selection was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. Overall, Morrison's is definitely worth a visit!
