The Star casino has been required by the government to have everybody "join" the club. It collects every bit of information necessary for the government digital ID. Apparently they've lost a lot of customers over it. I didn't sign up which means I wasn't allowed to gamble. And they monitor it like Nazis it's unbelievable. It's just not enjoyable in New South Wales any more. It's a great shame. My wife decided to join and at one point she couldn't reach the number so I put the number on for her and dealer said no only the people with the Card can play. And he took the coin off and gave it back to her and she had to give it to him to put on it was just ridiculous. is it really going to have any impact on money ordering? Criminals will easily get false IDs. So the only people that are truly affected and have their data at risk with a private company are the honest people.

Pretty mixed experience at the star in the fact that I had a horrible dealer that kept on making mistakes (twice in a row) at the ultimate Texas hold’em table. She was also really rude and never smiled or engaged with the players. Luckily when the dealer changed it was much better and the table was much more fun and there weren’t any mistakes made. The dealer (can’t remember his name) was awesome! Seems busy but not super busy on Saturday evening. Hope they can pull through with better management.

This reputable venue is in alliance with its sister venues in The Gold Coast and Brisbane. The Brisbane venue opened last year. The opening was delayed for over 13 months for reasons unbeknownst to me. I had lived in Brisbane for 14 years, and I've never witnessed such a protracted building opening before. Regardless, all the patrons rave about the Russian roulette and Blackjack tables. According to the 'Legends' , you can finance a brand new Bentley with the winnings. That's unbelievable!! Conversely, my favourite game is Poker. My winnings were so exorbitant at River Rock in North America, that I financed a Ferrari. It has a rather obnoxiously, belligerent, customized license plate. However, no one has ever confiscated my car because of its infallible security system. Sometimes my girlfriend never leaves the house. She's prone to motion sickness, so I nonchalantly cruise in my luxury vehicle solo, except I don't do road trips. Undeniably, if I have to venture internationally, I invest in a Virgin Airlines round trip. They're notorious for 5-8 hour delays in LAX, but given that those people subsist on 'Cali time', I'm accustomed to it.

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience when I visited this place. From the moment I arrived, I encountered multiple issues that made the entire trip frustrating and completely unworthy of my time. First and foremost, they refused to accept my digital Melbourne ID, even though they were willing to accept digital IDs from New South Wales. This policy seemed completely inconsistent and unfair, as both IDs serve the same purpose. If they allow digital verification for one state, why not for others? The second issue was even more frustrating. I was informed that I could not play unless I became a member. While membership requirements are understandable in some cases, what really baffled me was that they only accepted physical IDs for registration. This was completely inconvenient for travelers like myself, as it is unreasonable to expect people to carry all their physical identification cards with them at all times. Digital IDs are widely accepted elsewhere, so this outdated policy felt unnecessarily restrictive. In the end, I wasted my time traveling there, only to be turned away and unable to play. The entire experience was disappointing and not even remotely comparable to Crown Casino in Melbourne, where the process is far more seamless and customer-friendly. I will never return to this place and certainly wouldn’t recommend it to others.

A brilliant venue. Sydney does not have many venues that allow for the safe mix of young and old people having a good night out. Plenty of bars and live music. Definitely spent hours at the casino and had fun. Had dinner at black and the meal was delicious. Had lunch at harvest and the spread was filled with lots of wonder foods including a great dessert bar. Enjoyed both a late night and early morning having fun! The hotel room was clean and very quiet. The pool was brilliant with clean spa. The government has made it difficult to have a flutter and imposed far too many rules on the star in regards to policing time and money. Yet you can walk a few meters up the road and easily get drunk and gamble for hours without any rules. This needs to change. Being told to stop gambling and wait 15 mins is a complete joke when you obviously go to the casino to gamble. Other venues don’t impose such idiotic rules. Also how do a group of people be able to gamble when it is made clear on machines and entry that any jackpot won can be void if the membership card is not the same as the person playing the machine. So odd
