We were upgraded to a harbour view suite upon arrival and the room was absolutely stunning. Clean, furniture felt fairly new, attention to details. Reception and security staff were very professional and friendly. That said we didn't not enjoy the overall vibe in the casino and services within. Hotel great, casino no so much.

The Star Casino in Sydney is definitely a destination worth visiting, not just for the gambling, but also for the exceptional ambiance and atmosphere it offers. Every corner of the casino is designed with elegance and visitor comfort in mind. The services are of an extremely high standard, with always friendly and accommodating staff ensuring that each visit is memorable. The variety of bars and restaurants at The Star Casino ensures that there is something for every taste, whether you're looking for a relaxed evening with a drink or a fine dining experience. This place is more than just a casino; it's a comprehensive experience of entertainment, relaxation, and hospitality.

Hotel is easy to get to when travelling from the west. Rooms are amazing well appointed and clean. Easy walking tonight fail or to Chinatown. Great selection if light meals and restaurants. Friendly staff and the rate is really good - I book via Qantas

I wish i could put a 0 STAR for the Casino's security guys who were so arrogant and racist with me and my husband. We came all the way from Wollongong to celebrate our Anniversary and It was my first time there and never again. We had dinner at the buffet which was beautiful then after asking one of the staff about how to go to the casino, we headed there and out of a sudden the security stopped us and told us to wait on a side, Then I heard him saying on the 2 way radio is this the guy?Apparently they were after someone and suspected the wrong person. After waiting there with no reason and no one explaining nothing & while everyone was going in, we started complaining and we got upset as any normal person would feel they told us that we had an interaction with a staff member and we have to leave now without providing any explanation or proofs they just kicked us out, and i assume just because my husband has tattoos they picked on him and decided to stop us out of all the people. It was the most disappointing experience i ever had. I hope this gets investigated seriously.

Attended the Star to see Wicked in the Lyric Theatre & to have dinner. Walked from city - 30mins - pleasant across bridge. Lots of options to get there. Easily found Lyric Theatre & box office. Multiple eateries to select from & chose Harvest Seafood Buffet. Food was great - fresh seafood, cooked meals, curries, Asian options & an amazing desert assortment. Service generally good but slow drink delivery. Able to eat & be out in tine for show.
