The atmosphere of this place is one of the best. Especially Thursday, Friday nights! One of my favourite places to come as it is in a good location and the decor is so beautiful. The service could have been a little better with the timing. Ordered two cocktails (one each for my friend and I), and they came out at different times.

This bar is great to catch up before going to the Theatre Royal. It can get busy straight after work but we were lucky enough to get one right on the balcony. You do order by bar code on tables which can take a while so we did end up going to the bar to get drinks as well. We ordered prawn tacos, salt and pepper squid and corn ribs. All were flavoursome and would definitely get again. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We came for a pre theatre dinner. The food and drinks were delicious. Service was quick. Great vibe. My only complaint was it was extremely crowded but that made service even more exceptional as we didn’t wait long for anything we ordered. Just be aware that it is an outdoor area and not all seats are under cover, so weather can be an issue.

Noise level high as Friday after work. Seated outside on balcony great location. Going to theatre next door another plus. Even though super busy food and drinks delivered well. QR ordering code didn’t work on our phones so necessary to order at bar lucky plenty of bar staff. Food good pub standard.
Timeshare Chinchilla
A group of 12 work colleagues dined here for lunch (prior booking), split across 2 tables. Ordering was via QR code and they charge a surcharge and ask for a tip despite the concept saving them money. Service was speedy, except for one in our group who waited 25 mins later to get a cheeseburger without a bun. I ordered a Californian Chicken Burger ($23). Portion was decent. Fries lacked salt and no table salt was available. Burger could have had more sauce. Poke bowls were well received. Those who ordered cheeseburgers said they were cooked well done but had a nice surface char to it. Deceptive picture in QR menu for cheeseburger, makes it look like the beer is included for the price, especially because the other burger photos do not show a drink. One patron waited for a beer that never came because of this. Misleading advertising. $5 post mix coke was flat. Great atmosphere, music and indoor/outdoor eating setup. Bit chilly in winter but would be lovely in warmer weather. Honestly very reasonable for Martin Place area and good for work / large group lunches.
