Reviews for Sails Port Macquarie

Really great spot to stay. Lovely pool nice spacious rooms. Unfortunately they charge for parking which seems ridiculous given the amount of free parking nearby. The restaurant in the evening wasn't great, staff hit & miss. If you like peace and quiet don't book a room overlooking the pool. I recommend the garden view rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter got married here, we booked for 5 nights and daily breakfast. 1st 2 nights no air-conditioning. My grandchildren could not sleep. No phone in the rooms, so my daughter inlaw had to go to reception to report this. The person she spoke to was rude and offered nothing to help my grandchildren comfort. It was obvious they knew the air-conditioning wasn't working in many rooms. HIDDEN COSTS.....we were not prepared for the extra $101 they ask for upon check in. We were not prepared for the cost of parking. So disappointed in our stay, we left a day early. After getting home and checking my bank account, they took another $200? No explanations why. I rung to ask why. Lady said she needed to ring me back. 2 days later Still no answer. We did not touch anything in the fridge, we paid for parking for 2 nights then parked out on the street, we prepaid for breakfast, so why did they take an extra $200. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! 70% of staff were rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful Food: not bad, but expensive Room: hot and stuffy Beds: comfortable, great pillows.

Nice cozy accommodation with decent facilities on site. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was reasonably priced and had decent amount of veg options. This place missing massage facilities on site hence gave it only 4 stars everything else was very good.

Staff were friendly and location is good. Bed was not made up correctly. Restaurant overcharged. Main and entrée arrived at the same time. Gave feedback via email and website to enable rectification and heard nothing. Never given a poor review and this is the first time.

Great location and nice facilities on site. However, the rooms are tired and in need of an update. Service was good, we were initially given a room on ground floor and were able to be moved to a room on the first floor easily. This was much appreciated so we could enjoy the balcony and view over the marina.
