Came here for team lunch and food was served pretty quick when we got there as we pre-ordered our food. I had steak sandwich with chips and it was good. The atmosphere was filled with good music and I enjoyed my dining experience here.

Went to PJ O’Brien’s after hearing good things about their spice bag and pints of Guinness. The Guinness definitely lived up to the hype. Creamy, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. The spice bag had all the right flavours going for it. The curry sauce was spot on, seasoning was perfect, and the chips were cooked just right. But here’s the kicker… I counted only three tiny pieces of chicken in the whole thing. Three. For something that’s meant to be a chicken-and-chips situation, that ratio was way off. Felt a bit short-changed, to be honest. If they’d been a bit more generous with the chicken, this would’ve been an easy top-tier rating.

We visited on a Monday evening and the place was busy with people drinking and eating. We ordered the chicken wings, nachos and spice bag. All the food was excellent, especially the spice bag. I would highly recommend this place to others.

One of the best irish pubs, they have great house beer. Loved the environment as well, lively & good vibes. Must visit on the weekends!

The place was packed on Wednesday 6:30. Would recommend a booking for large groups. Spice Bag (1/5) - Followed this spot after a Reddit user made a series of posts reviewing many spice bags. Overall, I felt that the chips to chicken ratio was a bit off, making it very easy to end the meal with a basket of chips. The curry sauce had a great taste and consistency, but there was too little of it in comparison to the amount of chips. The spice bag itself had too little salt and seasoning, which was an issue with the lack of sauce provided. The onions and capscium were also not well dispersed and very clumped together. Value (whilst not factored in this score) was very strong, with one spice bag being able to feed 2 easily.
