The lobby staff was very welcoming. The area in the lobby was clean. The water dispenser was a welcomed service. The buffet breakfast was very comprehensive. The service staff was genuinely friendly. The room was a nice size. The amenities were appreciated. The exercise room was well supplied with equipment. The second floor Terrace was a nice addition to my stay. The food served for our welcoming dinner was the best: the steak was cooked perfectly, the salad was freshly picked, and the hot bread was over the top.

The room is nice and comfortable and quiet. That's the end of the good news. Appalling service. Rooms only cleaned every 3 days so guests have to reuse wet towells or go to reception to get a new one. Even after the 3rd day, we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. Staff do not appear to understand that looking after the customer is important. Zero friendliness. Ten year old tv not connected to internet for apps etc. My wife accompanied me on a business trip which included breakfast. I went to work whilst she had breakfast but they wouldn't serve her as she was not me. How can service staff be so removed from the concept of service? Management policy is the answer. Stay away from this place.

The location was good, about a 15 minute walk from the Opera House. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. HOWEVER some things for sure need to be improved. The food was TERRIBLE. Even though the reception staff immediately issued a refund, we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered in spaghetti bolognese and it was stone cold and couldn't even cut it because it was too undercooked. You would expect a great food service at such prices and a 4 star hotel. The music from the bar opposite the road from our room was crazy loud so i would recommend asking for a room on a high floor.

Its a bit run down (but not dirty or raggedy). Old paint, old tech, dated furniture and bathroom could use new grout. The gym is ill equip and small, doesn’t have a bench or many weights. However it’s a lot less money compared to similar sized hotel rooms. The location is good. The carpets are in good condition. The view is fantastic. The sauna looks awesome. The value per dollar when it comes to the room size and view is unmatched in sydney. I saw some hotels online that were basically just the bed and suitcase room for the same price. I would recommend this hotel.

We received a very warm welcome from the staff, and the room initially looked good when we arrived. As we were heading straight out for an event, we didn’t spend much time in the room at first. However, when we returned later, we noticed that the towels were not clean, the bathroom was dirty, the TV was not working, and the Wi-Fi was also unavailable. We contacted reception to request fresh towels and to report the issues with the TV and Wi-Fi. Fresh towels were provided, however the TV and Wi-Fi issues were not resolved. When hanging the towel up, the entire towel rack came away from the wall, which was quite disappointing and felt avoidable. The following morning, when we went down to breakfast, I turned around and left almost immediately as it was evident that the dishes at the buffet were not clean. By that point, my confidence in the overall cleanliness of the hotel had been lost. I would like to note that the staff were consistently apologetic, polite, and pleasant throughout our stay. However, I do feel that the hotel has the potential to be much better, and with improved cleanliness and maintenance standards, the overall guest experience would significantly improve.
