I have done wedding photography recently in this beautiful venue! It can easily fit more than 200 people! It has good lighting and space for dancing! Attached a few photos from the photoshoot. This is Candid chaser photography specialising in weddings, couples, portraits and fashion!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! We booked an event at Doltone House Sylvania, before doing so we visited the venue and our room we hired for the event. We were happy with everything and the way the room looked. 2 days before the event we went to drop off items to the venue. To our surprise the dance floor had changed into an ugly, old fashioned timber that doesn’t go with the venue or any of the decorations we spent a lot of money on. It looks like something you’d see in your grandmothers house from 50 years ago leaving us no time to out source a new dance floor on top of paying a lot of money for something that was already included in the venue. If you think i’m being dramatic please see new photos of the doltone house sylvania rooms and tell me you don’t think the photos were taken from 10 years ago. It’s a joke and looks horrible. If we saw this when booking there is no way we would have booked with Doltone House Sylvania. We were better off going to venues such as The Kyle Bay which have beautiful views and a black dance floor included or if you’re paying the extra to change the dance floor you might as well go to a more premium venue like Le Montage where you’ll end up paying the same amount in the end but get a better more modern looking venue that would at least have a modern feel. Hopefully our mistake with booking Doltone House Sylvania saves you the same experience we had.
Reception
Our function was small as it was a kina genesis (henna night) for a six month old little girl, I believe we got a great service great food and very comfortable seating. I loved the floor colour in the toilets. I don't know why some people give a 1 star for not having diet coke, or not getting a refund for a family member being ill ( I hope the sick person is recovering well) or even the tables being cleared quick. Try and give an honest review to help others make a decision and do not give a 1 star just because you didn't get your coke or your plate was cleared off the table when you were not ready. These functions are usually Saturday Sunday evenings when we're out enjoying our evenings and these people who work and are trying to please us are a friend, brother sister mums dads trying to get a pay check.

Was there for cousins engagement. Wonderful photo worthy place. Top notch service and can't fault the chicken or the lamb shank. Swift professional service. Would recommend anyone for small wedding function we were about 325 guests. I am sure they have bigger function room.
