We stayed 4 nights here, great location, fantastic staff & the manager was absolutely brilliant. Very helpful & a great ambassador 4 the region. Such yummy food & entertainment, so much fun. Wednesday night jazz Each week Toby, Aaron and Matthew are amazing musicians. Weekly special guest singers and musicians make the evening powerful and uplifting with really good jazz music. The Whiskey Bar turns into our favourite jazz club The decor, atmosphere, service and food and drinks selection makes it a great bar. We look forward to our Wednesday jazz

Would have loved to rate them higher. Sadly I was not afforded the opportunity. Having a beer garden and then banning dogs sounds absolutely crazy to me (and also makes little sense at umina- the locals love their dogs) Are there nasty dogs? Quite possibly. Nowhere near as many as nasty human bar goers. A blanket ban is probably not the best way to address either. Maybe consider a less radical policy - I will gladly rewrite my review
