It's not a new hotel but it's been maintained well. The apartment which we stayed for 4 nights is clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped. I'm so grateful for their impressive customer service - we had to check-out in the morning before we headed to the last day of the conference, then we had to get changed to attend the gala dinner. The staff were so helpful and hospitable to let us use the shower at the pool area in the afternoon & loaned us towels so we can get ready for the gala. As a comparison, our friend who stayed at The Hilton was told that she could get changed in the toilet. The impeccable service did not come from a specific staff; it came from ALL of the staff - it's like they have been trained to extend caring gestures which is a privilege these days, so thank you so much to all the staff at Oaks Elan Darwin!! PS: if you have any question prior to your stay, don't email, just call them.

The views from our room were beautiful, but the room itself was disappointing. No clothesline or clothes horse, internet signal didnt work in half the apartment, dishwasher leaked water all over the kitchen floor, the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were on the way out with the option of really slow or tornado speed, the pool area didnt get much sun, the lifts took ages, the pillows in the beds were all soft with no firm options, cranked tiles in the bathroom, a chunk missing from the vanity sink - just not up to standard for the price paid sadly.

I have stayed at Oaks multiple times when travelling for work, and have continually been impressed with everything including thoughtful extra touches like a complimentary fruit bowl and personal note from the manager. All the staff I have encountered have been friendly and helpful, and each room I've stayed in has been clean & well presented. I can't fault anything and look forward to staying at Oaks again on my next trip.

The room had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The washer took 1 hour to run even a delicate cycle. We did not cook but the kitchen appeared to have everything necessary. There was a grocery store about 5 minutes away.

Location very ez to walk to all shopping, supermarket ) Coles + Woolsworth.) . Close to airport ( 15min ) and Mindi beach (10min). Got sea view too.! Downside is there is no cleaning of room + limited breakfast buffet options
