What an amazing experience; we always had amazing experience from TFE hotels. However this one was truly outstanding. The location is perfect, service is always great, the food is amazing. As vegans; staff went out of their way to have some amazing, colorful breakfast for us. Thanks so much you guys. You really have been wonderful. By the way we encourage people to go to Darwin more as this wonderful place needs more TLC.

I will never step foot in this hotel again. true the rooms were nice and location was decent but the staff and management were absolutely useless and appalling, they made everything harder than it needed to be. You could tell the staff didn't care because they weren't even trying, the check in process was painful and slow. we arrived at 9.00pm and didn't get to the room till 11pm!!! The other guests that arrived ahead of us had it worse cause after waiting hours to be checked in they were sent to rooms that were already occupied, creating some very awkward encounters. The staff and management completely ruined the whole experience for us. Never again! Would not recommend

This hotel is like a once very attractive Sheila who has let herself go The location is great and all the staff friendly and helpful However, top management need to get a grip. A review 6 months ago described it as grubby and management response was they are aware of the issues. What has been done since : Nothing ! It's dirty unkempt and it's clear Management want to make as much money as possible and not spend a $ on maintenance 2 examples - when asked how the $36 bottle of wine from the in room menu became $50 to aging off, was told 'the menu is out of date and $4 for delivery. Come on guys ! The pool - lots of tiles missing from the mosaic pillars, filthy doors and mild round the bottom large glass windows. Our room blinds were filthy nowhere has seen paint or a deep clean in at least 10 years Top management may need another strategy when this place goes down the pan I'm doing this to advise others and hope someone will restore the infrastructure

We stayed here for two nights, it was pleasant to see all the Indigenous art in the foyer, which had a strong perfume smell, and carried through to the hallways leading to the rooms. When we got into the room, it was very small for the price and the room had a thick smell of mould, but we expected it for the wet season humidity. The staff were very happy to serve us, and we told them about it after our stay. Loved loved loved the Waterfront to death and would come again.

Rooms, foyer and common areas very dated and grubby. Overwhelming smell of deodorizer in foyer. Carpets stretched and frayed. Our room was dark, dated and barely clean. The bathroom needs a good scrub. Woodwork on bedhead and bar fridge badly worn. Not what you expect for the price.
