We had a great time. The room was fantastic and extremely clean. the staff were friendly and hospitable. the facilities were great. the only thing we didn't particularly like were the over-cooked and unpeeled hard-boiled eggs on the breakfast buffet. They could consider not over-cooking them (they were rubbery) having them peeled in the kitchen as they were difficult to peel at the breakfast table. they could also have offered scrambled eggs and bacon in the chafing dishes alongside the baked beans and hard boiled eggs.

This was our first time to Darwin and overall we totally enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The day we arrived we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. A couple of things that were annoying - the TV in the bedroom didn't have a remote so we did try to use the remote that was for the main TV in the living room. This remote would only switch the TV in the bedroom on or off only. I wasn't able to change channels with it at all. The following day I approached the staff at the front counter and asked if I would be able to get another TV remote for the TV in the bedroom as we couldn't find one in the apartment anywhere for it so some time later one of the staff brought another remote to our room. When I tried to use that remote it wouldn't work at all but when I tried it on the main TV it did work. Rather than make an issue of it we didn't bother to use the bedroom TV. The toilet in the ensuites button had to be held in for it to flush. Everything else was ok. We would definitely stay here again though because the staff were truly amazing and the location was fantastic - we walked to most places. Please keep up the good work guys, we'll definitely be back 😀

$400 Per night get you average furniture and amenities, 2 Deluxe Single Beds are like kids size beds, TV volume is forced set on max is like 15% Volume. No Housekeeping at all and A/C is weak. If you are 175 or higher you won't be able to sit on the toilet unless sideways. Staff that checked us in was very assertive(not rude) in tone from the get go, like we were kids been told off. Like we should thank them to let us stay here. This part was the part most unhappy about. You have to pay $15 per day extra for parking as street parking all ticketed. But the view and Balcony is good.

We stayed 3 nights last month (June) & Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel was perfect! Early check-in, friendly, enthusiastic staff, nothing was too much trouble, comfy & clean room on the 25th floor, the views are breathtaking, restaurant was very convenient, we thought great value & good coffee, 5min walk to CBD, 10 min walk to the waterfront... like I said perfect. Exceeded expectations.

Stayed in a lot of hotels but this has to be the best one yet. The room is the perfect size and a decent size balcony. It is so clean and comfortable. The bed in this room is better then my own bed at home! We have stayed here twice and when we go back to Darwin we definitely will stay here again! Also we decided we wanted to stay an extra night, and after some re arranging, we were able to stay in the same room. Definitely recommend. The location is great. Off of the main street so it is a bit quieter, but only a 5 minute walk down there which is perfect.
