We recently stayed for a 50th birthday celebration with a large group of friends and experienced both amazing service, and extremely rude service. The rooms are fairly nice, despite the rock-hard beds, but considering the price tag, I would expect more attention to detail. The corridors were constantly clogged with cleaning bags and the pool is ready for a clean/makeover. The most disappointing part of our stay was the 9pm ‘curfew’. There is absolutely nowhere on property where you can sit and chat with friends after 9pm and you’re basically sent to your room like children as they won’t let you sit anywhere other than the reception area. Of course you aren’t allowed to socialise in your room, so basically, it’s bed-time at 9pm, which is ridiculous. The manager used the ‘we are a licensed venue so we can’t supervise you’ excuse, which simply isn’t good enough when you’re paying over $400 a night to stay at a ‘resort’. When you have a large group of adults staying, I would hope you’d be able to cater for your guests past 9pm. We all likened it to being on school camp and it put a real downer on our trip away. The location is beautiful, and if you’re happy with average service and a fairly simple brekkie (no hot food) I guess it’s an ok choice.

Gorgeous location right by the sea with a breathtaking view overlooking the ocean from the balcony. I even slept outside on the balcony once when I was too sunburnt to bear the blanket touching my skin; it was very relaxing and refreshing. Very friendly staff and lots of amenities to enjoy, including a pool. On top of all this, my wife and I found the hotel restaurant to be the tastiest in the area and went back to eat there almost every day that we stayed.

Twin garden view room was great and very clean. Beds are very firm to hard. Very small kitchenette with basic amenities. Pool was large but showed some dark colours on the bottom. The pool chairs had dark staining but comfortable with towel provided. Service desk was good however a luxury item ordered was not in room on arrival. It was a great stay and very quiet. And there was an air con unit on the balcony pushing out hot air which was not good while sitting at the outside table

Had such a lovely stay at Coral Sea Resort. We stayed in the Ocean Deluxe room and it was perfect. The facilities were amazing, great pool, continental breakfast included but you could pay for cooked breakfast. They had happy hours at the pool bar. Staff were really helpful, particularly Bella who went above and beyond for us during our stay. We got engaged here and my partner had arranged with the staff for our room to be decorated and had prosecco and chocolates in the room which was a special touch. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is set in a beautiful location, with a stunning pool area that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. The food was delicious and well presented, with great attention to quality and flavour. Enjoying a meal by the pool in such a lovely setting really made the experience special. A perfect place to unwind. We’ll definitely be back.
