Wonderfully located on the water at Point Cartwright Drive Buddina. Lots of indoor and undercover outdoor seating options. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Had the Seafood Platter, which included a fabulous selection of fresh & cooked seafood. Was Really Beautifully Presented & Tasted Amazing !!

We had dinner at Kawana Waters Hotel on Thursday night and really enjoyed the experience. There was a game fishing competition running an auction while we were there, which made for a lively and upbeat atmosphere. It felt like a place people genuinely enjoy visiting. Ordering was easy, we placed our food order via the QR code at our table and went up to the bar for drinks. They offer both a standard menu and a specials menu. The app mentioned a 60-minute wait for food, so we were prepared for a longer wait, but to our surprise, our meals arrived in just 15 minutes. We had the barramundi and the prawn chicken parmi, both were delicious (see photos!). The food was great and the overall vibe was welcoming. Since we went at night, we didn’t get to take in the views over the water, so next time we’ll aim to visit while there’s still daylight to enjoy the boardwalk and balcony area. We’ll definitely be back.

Great menu. I hope the chefs special seafood pie is still on the menu when I go back. Can't fault the place. Something for everyone. Very generous serves of really tasty food. Fabulous!

Well, firstly a hotel in a fantastic location, with great views but unfortunately the food does not match the hotel itself. Our meals were below average at best. We will definitely not be eating here again as this is not the 1st time we've been unhappy with the quality of food being served up. I had seniors, ribs/ chips, and slaw, sounds good, and should not make any difference being a seniors meal but slightly smaller maybe, but it was still $21 ? My partner had the burger with chips. We had only sat down with our drinks for a couple of minutes, and our meals were served up to us. Wow, chef must be a speedy guy, or had the food just been reheated ? The ribs were anaemic and basically full of fat with white gristle bone, disguised with a BBQ sauce to hide the poor quality of meat. Chips were cold, and slaw was fresh out of a bag drizzled with a non discript dressing. The dish was inedible, and I ended up leaving it ! My partners burger was ok, but once again, the chips were cold. I did ask to speak with the manager as they cleared the plates from our table, but all he done was offered me a drink as compensation, no real apology, or would I like something else, etc ! We will definitely not be eating there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The location was fantastic and super convenient because we stayed in the nightcap Kawana waters hotel next door. The food was fantastic, I had the chicken Caesar salad, I never get a salad but felt like one, it was so good. My partner had to rump and it was so so good. The drinks menu was really fun. The kids meal was great, comes with a drink and ice cream and they were very accommodating for kids. Playground outside and area inside for kids to play in / play the chocolate machines. Plenty of seating, toilets on site. Wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be back!
