Wonderfully located on the water at Point Cartwright Drive Buddina. Lots of indoor and undercover outdoor seating options. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Had the Seafood Platter, which included a fabulous selection of fresh & cooked seafood. Was Really Beautifully Presented & Tasted Amazing !!

We had dinner at Kawana Waters Hotel on Thursday night and really enjoyed the experience. There was a game fishing competition running an auction while we were there, which made for a lively and upbeat atmosphere. It felt like a place people genuinely enjoy visiting. Ordering was easy, we placed our food order via the QR code at our table and went up to the bar for drinks. They offer both a standard menu and a specials menu. The app mentioned a 60-minute wait for food, so we were prepared for a longer wait, but to our surprise, our meals arrived in just 15 minutes. We had the barramundi and the prawn chicken parmi, both were delicious (see photos!). The food was great and the overall vibe was welcoming. Since we went at night, we didn’t get to take in the views over the water, so next time we’ll aim to visit while there’s still daylight to enjoy the boardwalk and balcony area. We’ll definitely be back.

We both had the Senior Ribs one was excellent not much could be said about the other one but the raggyiest ribs we have ever seen - obvious just looking at them on the plate. Terribly disappointing, just awful completely puts you off.

It was okay. I ordered the bug/rump special...and the bug was unfortunately very dry. I ordered a drink at the same time as my meal and had to chase it up after my meal had been delivered. Staff are friendly and it's a great location.

First time at this venue and yes, it was Easter Saturday so it was busy however we weren’t told until after we’d ordered and paid that there was an hour wait. Ok, fine, happy to wait. After an HOUR AND A HALF, we thought it would be reasonable to ask about our order, however we were just reminded (female kitchen supervisor?) about the wait time In a very unpleasant manner. But we were hungry and out $70 so we made a second enquiry with a lovely waitress who DID investigate it for us and eventually advised that they had lost our order. This waitress arranged an immediate refund but at no point did the senior staff member assisting with the refund make any attempt to speak to us or apologise on behalf of the hotel or provide anything remotely related to good customer service.
