I had the pleasure of spending two nights at this magnificent hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The food is of excellent quality and really tasty! (Breakfast & Dinner) There’s a gym and a swimming pool on the top floor – and what a treat it is to workout whilst admiring the view of the city. Located just a 10-minute walk from the CBD, the hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet area. A lovely little bonus: the communal areas smell wonderful! I really recommend this hotel, don’t hesitate !😊

After driving up the east coast from Sydney with my mum and staying in various hotels/motels, our feelings on this hotel were mixed. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised as it had convenient parking ($30 per night), modern interior and a fresh floral scent. Unfortunately when we got to our room we were hit immediately with an old stale musky odour. The old style wall vent aircon seemed to also only have one fan setting which was low even tho is indicated medium and high. My mum started to feel unwell with the odour so we spoke to reception to see if we could move rooms. After trying another 2 rooms, we were told there were no other rooms available of our room type and they believed it must have been a product the cleaners used causing the smell so we settled on room 510 which did have a more modern aircon unit that worked. However the smell still persisted, so we ended up sleeping with the balcony door open to get some fresh air in. The room itself was ok, basic, good sized beds, the balcony could do with having a chair on it so you can enjoy the view, a safe would have also been very beneficiary so we didn't have to take our valuables with us at all times. On a positive the Banquet dinner no 1 was really lovely and a reasonable price aswell! However, breakfast let the hotel down again as the cooked options were mediocre, there wanst any herbal tea or hot water on offer so i had to ask and the tea and coffee available were in a flask pre made stewing all morning. We would have expected from a 4 star hotel to have a coffee machine available. Lastly, the rooftop pool and gym has beautiful views just would have been nice to be able to look out the windows, at sunset all you can notice when the sun hits them is how dirty they are. Location was great, next to the park, along the free bus loop and a short walk into the city. Wouldn't take alot to make this hotel great.

Great choice for a hassle free business trip. You have everything needed within a decent and modern ambience - including parking. The view outside the window was nice, but wasn't the greatest. Not the hotel's problem, but a number of high rises have cluttered the other wise would have been a great sky line.

Staff working on the front desk were very professional & helpful at such a stressful time on my journey through Brisbane. They are very welcoming & polite. One staff member went above & beyond her call of duty to ensure my stay & situation was supported, through her help & assistance to myself. Thank you for having awesome welcoming staff. They were amazing & made my experience positive 😊

According to my knowledge that nice hotel and the moment of arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the exceptionally kind and warm-hearted lady who worked at the reception desk in the mornings. She was always so friendly, helpful, and genuine — her kindness really stood out and made our stay feel even more special. Every interaction with her brightened our day, The hotel itself is wonderful: rooms spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view. The facilities excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel both elegant and relaxed, which made it the perfect setting foe visitoi.according to my knowledge Irecommend the Grand Chancellor Hotel highly enough. !
