Was a nice hotel, good service upon check in. The view from the ocean view room was incredible!! Only downside was there was no doona with the bed only a thin sheet so was quite uncomfortable. The rooms were okay but the bathroom had zero ventilation so the mirrors would always get foggy after showering & the water on the floor tiles would be slippery. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the main area so good location if you like to go for a stroll along the water

I was on level 12 and the views over the city and bay is stunning. The room was clean and bathroom had a deep tub and seperate shower which was nice. The buffet breakfast was included and a great start to the day. The coffee wasn't the greatest so I took the instant coffee from the room to breakfast instead. The walk into Cairns takes 10-15 minutes but, great exercise, a nice walk and you can admire the beautiful tropical plants along the way.

The staff at reception are generally friendly and do their best to make the stay comfortable. The rooms are pretty spacious, which is a nice plus. However, housekeeping needs serious improvement. Rooms are often not cleaned properly - tables and benches left dirty, bathrooms not up to standard and occasionally questionable bedding more often than it should be. Cleanliness can be hit or miss, and unfortunately, it seems to have gotten worse over the past year. The bathtubs also don’t drain very well at times, which can be frustrating. Items left behind no longer seem to be recovered, which wasn’t the case in the past. Management should consider closely monitoring the housekeeping team to ensure better consistency. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel, but there’s definitely room for huge improvement.

We stayed there when we visited Cairns. The rooms were old and dated, definitely in need of a renovation soon. The reception was friendly and helpful, same for the restaurant staff. Location wise it was right next to the city's hospital so we were woken up by sirens all night long. However, of you are a fan of airplanes it was a great spot as we were on the flight path for take offs, which provided a show for us. The taxi service was also very good and easy to use.

Rooms are ok and the views are good. The big I had is that aircon is set as on or off. No thermostat. So the only way to regulate the temp is to leave the door partly open. Apart from that it’s great - cheaper than most in the area. Parking is $15 a night.
