Reviews for Bisou Bisou

Great experience at Bisou Bisou! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. The rotisserie Chicken exceeded my expectation, I would recommend trying. The duck leg was good, though I’ve had better elsewhere with more flavorful curing and a crisper skin.

Bisou Bisou, located inside the X hotel, has a great vibe with a really nice ambience. The service was awesome too, our server was friendly and attentive. The food, though, was a bit hit or miss. I started with the baguette and butter, which I thought would be incredible based on the hype, but it was just okay. Nothing to rave about, especially compared to other French spots I’ve been to. The steak tartare, however, was absolutely amazing, definitely the star of the show! The mussels were also a standout and totally worth trying if you're into seafood. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, but I wasn't too sure about the butter sauce. It was a bit salty for my taste, though I can see how some might love it. The escargot? So sad. It came in a pastry with a white sauce that lacked any real flavour, it just didn’t hit the mark for me. Overall, it was a decent experience. I wouldn’t rush back, but if I’m craving steak tartare and mussels, this might be the spot I head to.

I have tried a handful of French restaurants across the country.. this one apparently had good reviews but tbh food was mid- we ordered some entrée, mussels in garlic wine broth, steak served with some green beans, and followed by desserts. The mussels was the highlight while the main course was a let down..

I can not talk highly enough about this restaurant. The staff is exceptional and our dishes were fantastic. This is a must visit if you're doing a night on the town in Brisbane.

Must be a quiet night, there was only one other patron in the restaurant. Kitchen was busy with the room service happening next door. Service was slightly disjointed, took my drinks menu away and then asked if I wanted a drink but followed up and apologised for the delay in the food. Had the half chicken that was specially prepared by ovens brought in from over in France 🤔It was well cooked, although condiments were a bit bland.
