Absolute incredible experience. The staff consistently went above and beyond expectations. Spotless rooms, fantastic dining, and you can't beat the location. One of the best stays in my 30 years of international travel.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ovolo in room 708. The room was lovely, clean and well appointed with robes, slippers, a safe, carry bag, coffee machine, mini bar and quite a few other extras. The spa I would have stolen had it fit in my bag 😂. I can't even remember how many relaxing spas with magnesium salt provided we had in our 2 night stay The whole hotel was decorated beautifully with a real quirk about it which is why I decided to take my wife to Ovolo for our 20th anniversary. It didn't fall short of expectations. Aircon kicking in overnight was a bit noisy, but that's about my only critique.

I don’t normally leave hotel reviews but do need to call this one out on its misleading self-promotion as a “distinctive luxury hotel” with a 5 star rating. In reality, it is distinctly average. I couldn’t identify a single luxury element and our stay fell well short on many basic expectations. Our room smelled like a smoky old airport motel. We were kept awake at night by rowdy people coming back from nights out. Our water and in-room coffee was not restocked. The antique air conditioning unit sounded like a train. It is a trek to central Brisbane. The “gym” room and pool area were tired and frankly a waste of time. We waited 45 minutes for two watery aperol spritz’s in their bar during “Apero Hour”. When we asked to move rooms due to noise we were treated with suspicion by the staff, who failed to help or follow up with us. We stayed at Ovolo, The Valley as part of a trip across the East Coast of Australia where we stayed at various hotels with a similar price point. This was by far the worst and we would not recommend it to anyone. Superficial quirky decorations and and a free sweet bar weren’t enough for us unfortunately.

My husband and I traveled from Utah, USA and stayed 7 nights here and it was incredible. Every evening, there was a complimentary cocktail hour. The staff is so friendly and helpful to tourists like us. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, modern. It was such a pleasant stay. Their restaurant next door is also so delicious!

My daughter’s favourite hotel! Free lollies in the hall, free mini bar it was such an amazing experience. Clean, great service restaurant down stairs is legendary and the pool super cozy. The experience actually beats the photos!
