While I typically lean towards giving 5-star ratings, a couple of issues prompted me to deduct one star from my review. Due to a flight delay, we arrived very late for check-in. When I inquired about breakfast coverage, the staff member, perhaps fatigued from a long day, responded that it wasn't included without verifying. I chose not to contest it at the time. The following morning, a different staff member confirmed that breakfast was indeed included. This inconsistency left me bewildered, especially after discovering similar experiences in other reviews. If I had booked a room with breakfast, why was I initially told otherwise? Another minor gripe is the backed-up sink, a hardware issue that, while not ruining our stay, detracted from the overall experience. On a lighter note, despite these hiccups, our overall stay was delightful. We appreciated the convenience of storing our luggage until late afternoon before our departure. The breakfast itself was a highlight – delicious and promptly served. A special thanks to the dedicated kitchen and serving staff who made our morning enjoyable. While our stay had its minor bumps, the positive aspects overshadowed them, leaving us with fond memories of our time at the hotel.

Super unhappy from this hotel service. Overall room was good and everything was fine until at the checkout i was charged almost 95 AUD (without mentioning in there terms and conditions on my booking) that i would be charged for mini bar if i utilize anything from that. Firstly your so called mini bar is a Fridge in my rented out room and there was water, drinks and chocolate. So when a customer checked it he will probably think it was general use as a nice gesture. But no you guys waited until i was ready for check out and asked me this amount cause you have mine 200 cash deposit. Again i was not provided with the receipt for mini bar charge. Will definitely escalate this matter.

Best hotel in the area! Value is insane! Rooms are big, comfortable, and nice. Pool is beautiful. Gym is nice! Wish I had stayed here my whole time in Brisbane. Would come back again for sure.

Everything was ok. Except they charged me for a chocolate, which I didn't even eat, that's fine; one may think $5/10 bucks whatever. Instead they failed to return my entire deposit, even though the room was immaculate. Really poor form and the ombudsman will be notified. Anyone thinking to stay here, don't. Until they start operating with transparency and in a professional manner.

Did not think it was a 5 star hotel. Instead it was a 4 star residence type hotel. The room was nice but it lacked amenities. The location was in Kangaroo Point. To get to the South Bank or North Bank, we had to walk through neighborhoods to the ferry terminal located about 10 minutes away. We hoped there were restaurants to eat at but was disappointed. We ended up eating a pastrami sandwich at a brewery nearby. After that, we caught a ferry and disembarked at South Bank. We ended up using Uber to return to the hotel at 9pm. We weren't sure it was safe to walk back from the ferry terminal to the hotel. Three issues disappointed me, one was the fees for using the room phone. I called the same number 3 times and only 1 time did it connect. I was charged $9 for 3 minutes of use. I argued that it was too much and they said to be fair, they will split it with me. I refused because they said local calls were 90 cents per call. After arguing for some time, they decided to charge me 90 cents. Second issue was check out date. They said to keep the key and to take a swim at the pool. When I did, I was locked out. The front desk said my key would allow me back in. I had to walk all around the property to get back in. Third issue was the guest laundry. When I tried to use it, all the machines were in use all day and night. Yes it was complimentary but they should limit the guests from hogging it up.
