Booked a 3 night stay in the balcony suite at Point Hotel on Christmas period for our first visit to Brisbane. It was great. Room was a bit old but very clean. The view from our room was stunning looking at the Kangaroo Point Bridge and Story Bridge. Walking distance to a ferry terminal and we had some lovely walks to the City and Southbank as well. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to try the pool. They had dedicated room in the basement for guest self laundry and a microwave. We left something important in the room after checking out and just realised it after we went through a 2 hour traffic to Sunshine Coast on our way home to the North. A short call with the receptionist, Tahlia settled everything. The item got express-shipped to our address without any hassle. Thank you. Really appreciate it!

The point hotel was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The most noteworthy was the roof top restaurant with an amazing view but even more incredible staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was delicious and the bar tender made a special birthday drink for me off menu. We brought my 15 month old daughter along one night for an early dinner the staff were so lovely and even entertaining. Phoebe went out of her way to make us comfortable and was lovely to chat to. When my daughter was there they had some great children’s items you could get to make it feel more homely and entertaining. Was an amazing experience all round. Thank you all the staff and the point!

Had a lovely one night stay, to break our journey home. We enjoyed the amazing comfortable bed, the deep tub and the quiet and cool room. Laundry and the pool were an added bonus, and the car parking was so convenient. Being able to checkout at noon was so much appreciated.. All staff were friendly and efficient, shout out to the guy who checked us in, didn't get his name. We look forward to coming again!

Booked for a stay for 2 nights and we had a balcony room, definitely wasn’t expecting a full on lounge room with a separate bedroom and bathroom. It was a very very nice place to stay everyone was absolutely lovely. And we ended up having to stay a 3rd night so I decided to get some room service for dinner and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. And everything was amazing. Highly recommend. Oh and they had google cast so I could watch my own shows and didn’t have to watch day time tv!

The rooms are definitely passable, but they do show signs of aging...no shelves in the fridge,.bubbled carpet etc.....however, the bed was comfy, had some pillow options, and the TV's were easy to use. The shower 🚿 is over a bath, so not suitable for me (no safety handles) for more than a night . We had breakfast 🥞 included.... luckily, as I don't think the individual price is worth it. The view was beautiful (due to some renovations, it is up on the roof). We did have our meals 'forgotten', they were genuinely sorry, so apparently got fresh ones but my waffles were crystalized, and the hollandaise sauce on hubby's brekkie was too acidic .....in saying that, the coffee ☕ was great, the cold options, ie: Bircher Muesli, Chia Pudding, smoked salmon, lots of fruits, were also yummy
