Great family-friendly hotel! Located within a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Station. I stayed here with my child during the Easter holidays. They gave my child lots of Easter chocolates and gifts, which made them so happy! There are plenty of relaxing spaces. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s a very cozy, affordable, and excellent place to stay with kids.

Traveled with my daughter for a city staycay for her birthday. They made her night so special, we got a high room, balloons, teddies and a special card and choccies on her bed. They really made her night. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool is great - we got a sweet spot and had the pool to ourselves. Only negative we found was a light that flashes above the bed (we had the 2 double beds) and the door had a decent gap (one side) so the hall light peaked through and also noted the sound to hallway was a bit more than I remember from hotel rooms. Breakfast was great - their auto coffee machine was a hard pass for me but couldn't fault anything else. You can order eggs to your liking easily and the pancake machine was a hit with my daughter.

I was really excited to stay here after reading good reviews and even hearing from someone personally that it was really nice. Unfortunately left feeling a little dissapointed in our stay. The room itself was ok - our room was only on level 3 and looked directly out at a carpark which wasn't ideal for the $300+ spent for the night. The main problem we had was the smell. Our bathroom smelled rank. To the point that I was in and out of there as quickly as possible each time and had to keep the door closed at all times. The staff at the front desk were lovely and it was really sweet that they hand out teddies to the children upon arrival. Some of the staff int he restaurant didn't seem like they wanted to be there. (I say only some as there were also some that were really nice and helpful). Being mothers day it was a very busy morning, and they struggled to stay on top of the food. But the food iteslf was reasonble. All in all I would say it was ok - but I don't think I'd book again.

My daughter and I spent 5 nights here on the 8th floor in a room with a balcony. We weren’t at the hotel much, except to sleep. The room overall was nice- it was great to have coffee and tea mugs in the room. The balcony was spacious and we had some nice sunsets reflected off the other buildings. However, except for one small rod in an open style closet, there was nowhere to put clothing. Also, the washroom has tinted “walls” so the outline of whoever is in there is clearly visible which we found less than ideal. We opted out of housekeeping to take advantage of a daily credit to eat at the breakfast buffet. I would very much recommend NOT to eat at the buffet. The eggs were not edible and neither was the sausage. The bacon was very undercooked. Once we figured out we could order an omelette from the QR code at the table, we decided that would be an improvement for eggs. It was not. They arrived slimy, not fully cooked and hardly warm. The final disappointment was the very disinterested staff. Plates were not cleared away, and nobody appeared happy in their role. A guest had asked for assistance from the one server, and she proceeded to complain to her co-worker in Spanish about the interaction. Both employees were behind the bar/desk when you walk into the restaurant and when they finished their Spanish conversation, they went on their phones while our table, and the tables on either side of us (in front of them) all had empty dishes. There are many excellent restaurants in the area that would offer a much more positive experience. My star rating for “service” is solely based on the front desk and maintenance- both are excellent.

They had this deal where you didnt have to have your room serviced and you'll get a credit for not having it serviced but on the 3rd day they had to service due to policy which was fine, but on our 3rd day they did not service or clean our room and refused to give us any credit as it was policy but didnt service our room until we said something at 3:30pm then said they would come up which we were already back in our room for the rest of the night and had already showered with old towels and we were leaving the next day so it was absolutely pointless! And got no compensation for having the room not cleaned and serviced for 3 days
