So grateful for the free breakfast. Not as big of a breakfast as some places and still delicious. Our kids loved the pool and spent hours playing there. The view from the rooftop pool was also super cool. Hopefully the new construction around the hotel doesn’t obstruct the view. Also, their chrome cast on the smart TVs worked great to put kid friendly shows on. They don’t have many available channels on their own TV networks for kids.

The best thing about our stay at the Holiday Inn was, without doubt, the free buffet breakfast. The kitchen staff were exceptional. They ensured that the food was plentiful and fresh. This service is the thing that will make us repeat customers. The one issue was trying to connect to the streaming services. We did not manage to achieve it. This was really disappointing, and l expect that we are not the only people to find this challenging. The breakfast saved the day!

Staff friendly location good but: Rooms too small Aircon kept turning off so had to get up all night to turn back on. Bathroom glass poor for any privacy No water Bed was double definitely not queen No top sheet No do not disturb signs Parking full for our whole stay Breakfast was free and therefore completely overrun when we got there there was no tea. No hot food, no cutlery, no orange juice, nowhere to sit. Suggest charging for breakfast to reduce numbers. Or more staff to cook food and stock basics like cutlery. The staff were trying their best.

Stayed mid-week for a couple of nights & tge place was busy - no in hotel car parks left. Checkin staff very friendly & provided good advice on parking at rear of hotel ($12 50 overnight). We had bikes & they had a locker to use - small & made for 4 or so bikes & was full. Room was comfy although would recommend taking own pillow. Great bathroom & shower. East side of hotel would have ocean views from upper floors. Cafe on ground served nice buffet brekky to get day started. Drinks available during day from reception. Happy hour in pm & pool bar open late pm. Pool on 8th floor is small & when we were there was very crowded & water warm (not much shade). Gym on site but didn't check it out. Lots of eateries close by. RSL & pub close. Large shopping centre & transport hub 200m away so very convenient. Not where we would normally stay when on the coast but overall a very pleasant & convenient stay.

Modern rooms with great heated pool area on the roof. Free breakfast better than expected is a bonus. Great location with few coffee shops and food places around. Limited covered parking, but theirs is several stores parking place opposite the road just for $12.5 per day.
