Reviews for Cookie Melbourne

Had a great experience at cookie. The Thai cuisine was full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and the menu had plenty of variety to suit different tastes. The cocktails and drinks selection were also impressive. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy good Thai food in Melbourne.

Recommended by my brother and after a big day exploring, we came in for a drink. What a delight this place is! Atmosphere is excellent ❤️ We went round back to a big comfy Chesterfield's to enjoy the cocktail area on a quieter Monday night. Each cocktail was excellent👌 The barman was talented and the selection was wide which is great as my hubby and I have very different tastes. The food smelt wonderful, we just were not hungry

Situated on the first floor of Curtin House this has a fantastic atmosphere upon arrival. We popped in for a drink so can’t review the food, but the tunes were great and it was perfect for a catch up. Prices are on the higher side but will be back to try the food as well.

Pleasantly suprised that they have a separate gluten free menu and the staff clearly understood the health need requirements. We had the crispy pork belly, chicken and cashew nut with coconut rice. All really delicious and we ate the lot. Mocktails were delicious too.

An Absolute Melbourne Icon – The Perfect Mix of Chaos and Quality! If you are looking for the quintessential Melbourne dining experience, look no further than Cookie. Hidden away on the first floor of Curtin House, this place manages to perfectly balance the vibe of a rowdy beer hall with a high-end Thai restaurant. The Vibe From the moment you walk up the stairs (or take the lift) to Level 1, the energy hits you. It is loud, it is busy, and it is incredibly fun. The high ceilings and Juliet balconies overlooking the street below give it a spacious yet intimate feel. It’s the perfect spot for a Friday night group dinner or a lively date. The Food The Thai-fusion menu is nothing short of spectacular. Do not leave without trying the Pork Belly Red Curry—it is rich, spicy, and melts in your mouth. The Betel Leaf appetisers are fresh and zesty, acting as the perfect palate cleanser before the main event. The portions are generous and designed to be shared, which makes the experience even better. The Drinks The drinks list is as thick as a novel! Whether you are into craft beers, an obscure wine varietal, or a perfectly mixed cocktail (the French Martini here is a winner), the bar staff know their stuff. Service Despite how packed it gets, the service is surprisingly sharp. We love our waitress Khandi. The staff are attentive without hovering and are great at recommending dishes if you’re overwhelmed by the delicious options. Verdict Cookie isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an institution. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must-do. Just make sure you book ahead, because this secret is definitely out!
