Reviews for Peppers Blue on Blue Resort

Both Myself & My partner had an absolutely amazing stay at Peppers Resort, Magnetic Island. The room was well presented and most certainly comfortable and clean. The restaurant (Boardwalk) was also AMAZING, with brilliant customer service, presentation and meals to-die-for! I also had an unexpected surprise! My partner knelt down beside me and proposed and it was even more special when customers and staff congratulated us on our engagement! We will DEFINITELY return to stay again soon....and possibly even have the honour of having our Wedding there too!

First time in "Maggie" and we will be back. We stayed at Peppers specifically due to location as first time visitors. Loved the menu for dinner on night one, had a takeaway lunch by the pool which was great but it was a little light on options for breakfast. There was always a special (eg. homemade baked beans were great especially with chorizo, wontons one day) which was great but omelettes were not offered (*not did we ask though) but there was 'fried or poached' or the scrambled from the servery and fresh fruit, veges were a little limited(no avo!!) đŸ˜† The pools were incredible warm so to cool off jump a bus to horseshoe bay (picnic bay and Alama had no nets for this visit). But this was as rough as it got and it was incredible quiet at low season too. The accommodation was superb upgraded to a high floor unit which was stunning. Across the road was the ferry, bus and IGA which worked for us. Bus around the island on and off QLD 50c.

We were very happy with our stay overall. The room was spacious, very clean, and the resort environment was lovely and relaxing. The only downside was the room location (2212). Our room was close to the street and didn’t have proper noise insulation or double-glazed windows, so traffic noise made it difficult to sleep well at night. Aside from this issue, everything else met our expectations and the resort itself is great.

Stayed in a 3 bed apt with plunge pool for 8 nights. Location was excellent, right next to the ferry and bus, IGA and Grog shop, as well as a couple of dining options (SOS, Scoops, Granite). Check in can be busy if there are lots of guests arriving by ferry. Large pool was lovely to visit with little kids, especially the shallow lagoon end. We enjoyed the smaller pool near reception but found other guests expected the children to be quieter there, as well as it being a passage for the other guests/marina residents to get to the marina boardwalk so not as private as the larger pool. Reception staff were very helpful and quick with answers to any questions - very hospitable. 3 bed apt with plunge was great for our longer stay. Large kitchen, dining and living with 2 full bathrooms and a laundry. Nicely appointed however the soft furnishings and living room rug needed a good clean. Sadly the housekeeping was a let down for a Peppers - no vacuum or mop of floors or change of bed linen for our longer stay. Sometimes house keeping did not come at all so had to be chased up the next day. However, despite this minor inconvenience I would visit this Peppers again and would definitely recommend to friends.

Loved this resort! Really friendly staff who upgraded us to the penthouse since a cyclone was going to affect our stay a bit. The room was amazing, loved the pool, and great location close to everything. Would highly recommend and will be coming back!
