Background music played in the dining area is too loud. As the day crowd moves out and the evening diners move in, the music should be adjusted to suit the atmosphere. We enjoy the Parky, the service offered and high quality of food served, but having to yell across a table to be have a simple conversation is a killer. Turn the music down please.

Recently went to the parkwood tavern, was in a merry mood until the waitress who was a young Asian girl - kuko or Koko - that works there came over to give us our food. We ordered 2 pizzas and Wings. She gave us no cutlery no share plates and when I asked what will I do with 1 napkin and 10 wings she got an instant attitude and walked off taking her time making comments to her other staff members because of the sarcastic remark I made about the napkins. Now in any circumstance at any restaurant, never do you serve wings or pizza without and plates or cutlery in general. I also had to walk over and get the napkins myself as she was being a right rude girl and ignoring our request. To help with this review here is a photo of what the table looked like due to the poor service and poor staff skills. There is my bone plate made out of a napkin.

We had a family get together at the Tavern last Saturday and I have to let you know about the exceptional service our family and friends received from Jasmine, she was so friendly, efficient and seemed to be the only staff member who was on the ball. I recently visited Parkwood Tavern, and it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I had the steak sandwich with chips, and it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, and the price was reasonable. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with lots of TVs for sports fans. Overall, I highly recommend Parkwood Tavern for a great meal and good times with friends.

Renovated tavern with good quality service and bar staff. Food prices are excellent for a nice quick lunch. Food took a while to be prepared and delivered to our table. The food can be much improved especially the cheeseburger. The bun was old and the meat was burnt and unseasoned. The lettuce was not fresh and wilted. The cheese was good. Other dishes like the Buddha Bowl and Tofu Salad were good and acceptable for a pub that is looking to improve their offering. I recommend the Tavern for a nice cold beer and cheap food
