My husband and I drove down there last Tuesday for lunch. We had dinner there last time, and it was so nice with a waterfront view. The fried food was okay. So this time, we wanted to try the steak. We ordered the wagyu rump ($48) medium rare and calamari. I couldn't chew the steak well, and there was no taste at all! The calamari was okay, but some pieces had broken batter. We were very disappointed. We could have talked to the staff, but they weren't very friendly from the beginning. They didn't look happy at all. So we decided to just eat some as we were starving. All I want from this review is to give you some feedback about the terrible steak and help you improve it. I would like to go there again, maybe just to grab some beer as their view is amazing. 🍺

We went here for my partners birthday! Not to long ago. Lovely service from the staff from bree and Elise such bright smiles. The head chef know how to make a beautiful parmi and the staff were very accommodating with putting out balloons for out special occasion. The staff know how to make killer cocktails that tasted so good!!!! Will definitely being going back again soon.

Out of a table of 20 not one person enjoyed the food(even the kids). The parmy’s were small and soggy, I counted 10 chips on my plate. The Caesar salad was pretty well inedible.So many anchovies it was an over dressed salty mess. When I queried the manager I was told that the food is how it is.Later another staff member told me the food is terrible. Food used to be alright but not anymore.No one will be coming back for food here.

Beautiful location with lovely views of the passage. Highly recommend for a lovely stay whether popping in for a casual drink or dinner. Delicious food, plenty of beers on tap and amazing cocktails. Very polite and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Pet’s are allowed also on the outside deck if wanting to bring your furry friend along. Well done to all the amazing staff at PWT for providing an excellent experience and service.

Staying on the coast for the weekend so decided to pop down here for dinner. 10 of us. I ordered a $46 steak. The first one that came out was over cooked, yet the outside was almost grey, like it had been in an oven not the grill. Debated whether to take it back and ask for a remake, if it was a $20 steak I would have ate it, but almost $50, I want to enjoy it. The remake was even worse!! It was blue, terrible!! The waitress I returned the steak to was rude and dismissive. A manager then came to the table and she was lovely!! We had a chat, I explained the situation, that I am a chef myself and hospitality manager, that I understand how kitchens work and that mistakes get made, but when doing a remake, that remake should be perfection!! She refunded my money, got us some free drinks and of course offered me a free meal. Whilst the food was disappointing and some service was disgraceful, the female manager tonight was amazing, polite and understanding!!! Won’t be returning anytime soon though but huge shout out to this manager, wish I had grabbed her name!!!
