Reviews for The Inchcolm by Ode Hotels

I had a wonderful one night stay at the Inchcolm. The highlights of this place are the excellent and friendly staff, the bar and drinks on offer and the heritage feel to the hotel. I booked a large heritage suite located in the older part of the hotel but was delighted to be told by Bree over the phone that I would receive a complimentary upgrade to a slightly larger City View Suite (room 307) located in the newer part of the hotel. I also booked a Inchcolm Indulge package which gave me a $100 credit to be used for drinks and food. In my opinion the indulge package is value for money and I recommend you book this option as it's quite a generous add on. As I was staying on a Sunday unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open so I used my credit on drinks. I loved the ambience of the bar and the variety of cocktails on offer was amazing. Eden was super efficient in running the bar by herself on a Sunday night which was surprisingly quite busy and she did an excellent job with serving everyone in a timely manner! I was very happy with my room, it was modern and the bathroom extremely clean with an extraction fan working 24/7 to ensure great ventilation and no mould. The only improvements I would recommend is dusting the window sills as they had a bit of dust on them and also replacing the mattress or providing a mattress topper in 307 as it did sag ever so slightly with just myself in the bed and I'm not a large person! The fact you can adjust and dim the lighting in the room you never really see in hotels and this is great and caters to people who have sensory issues with light. I really want to thank Bree and Eden who were the two staff I dealt with during my short stay. These girls are hospitality super stars and really go above and beyond to provide exemplary service and are both super friendly and efficient. I don't think the hotel would run the same without them! I would highly recommend this hotel as a first option to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane be it business or leisure. Thank you Inchcolm Team I will definitely be back!

Perfect stay in this gorgeous boutique Art Deco hotel. I always find the service, attention to detail and cozy ambience is always EXTRA at boutique hotels and the elegant Inchcolm did not disappoint. I stayed for two nights and was in desperate need of a quiet couple of days and good night sleep. I was worried with its location it wouldn't be peaceful but it was. Beautiful room, food, drinks - everything exquisite. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brisbane

The Inchcolm is a hidden gem full of history and immense character. It is a small boutique hotel with playful and artsy decor, attentive staff, and thoughtful amenities. The Nespresso unit in the room was a touch of indulgence and the espresso drinks made by the front staff at the bar were delicious! We had the fortune of enjoying a tasting lunch at the bar and the food was creative, beautifully presented, and most importantly, delectable. The chef is very talented. Additionally, Jess and her team were awesome and extremely hospitable. Thank you Inchcolm group for a wonderful stay.

A Stylish Boutique Gem in the Heart of Brisbane The Inchcolm is the kind of boutique hotel that effortlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary elegance. Tucked away in Spring Hill, just a stone’s throw from Brisbane’s city centre, this historic building has been transformed into a super cool, stylish retreat. The rooms have that perfect balance of old-meets-new, with decor that feels both timeless and modern. The beds are incredibly comfy, the pillows are just right, and the overall vibe is one of effortless sophistication. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is ideal—close to everything, yet just far enough away to feel a little more exclusive and relaxed. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with character, comfort, and a touch of luxury, The Inchcolm is a standout choice in Brisbane! Highly recommend.

I used to love this hotel. They required me to screenshot the prices from online when I arrived to the hotel in Brisbane. On arrival, I had a lady state to me that I needed to screenshot the room type and so on. Even though I wanted a basic room. The price amounted to an additional $206.00 per night for the week I had booked. Drinks are overpriced, food is of no actual decent quality. The rooms are nice though. They will also sting you another $100.00 per night for any pets, not the one fee. It was well and truly better when it was ran by Ovolo.
