My Partner and I stayed here. Our first accommodation was not what was advertised. We then upgraded for extra money. We were then given a room with mould in the bathroom, and in the shower and dirty pillows from mould. Our door was also left open after cleaning. We requested a refund and were only given just over $100 dollars after spending over $1000 on the accommodation. Don’t come here ! Good location staff were pleasant but dirty as hell.

A great hotel for a long weekend away. Rooms were had usable space and had a beautiful view of the beach. Cleanliness level was good. Toilet and shower were separated which is always a nice feature. Lifts were surprisingly punctual which makes staying in a high rise a lot easier. Water pressure in the shower was a touch sensitive and would hammer loudly if you had it in a certain zone. Parking is $20/night and would recommend using the tram to get around. Unfortunately the Gold Coast isn't as car friendly as it used to be. Would stay again in future.

HEALTH ALERT: Extensive mould is rife in this building. I've seen the photos from a friend who lives there and what it has done to their apartment, clothes and furniture. Black mould all over the ceiling in all rooms, cupboards full of clothes and shoes and linen ruined, and couch and bed completely mould ridden and consequently disposed. Absolutely horrific. Numerous residents have serious, otherwise unexplained health issues after moving into this building. How Oaks continues to operate and not be closed down by the council or health authorities is both puzzling and scary. Reporting the issues to the managing real estate agents (Robina Real Estate being one of them) and unit owners results in zero action and subsequent eviction. Be aware, stay safe and avoid at all costs.

Very good stay if you’re after the basics. A very ample room, well maintained and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. No Room Service is the only down but it wouldn’t stop me from booking the same place in the future.

Nice staff, rooms are pretty outdated, which is fine but the mattresses are the worst I have ever had the discomfort of trying to sleep on. I even relocated to the floor hoping that would help (and it slightly did). If you're into super soft sinking mattresses with no support this will be your happy place, sadly it wasn't mine.
