We visited this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was simply unbeatable, and the food was of exceptional quality with amazing taste! My wife kept exclaiming that this was the best anniversary dinner she’s ever had, savoring every bite. Seeing her smile with happiness made me just as happy!

Thank you so very much to whoever looked after us tonight! We had an amazing night due to all your recommendations, we trusted the waitress with both the wine and the cocktail menu and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend the sirloin with the frites - salt and vinegar frites were the best!

A wonderful Brisbane gem, well worth a visit. Their collection of wines are exceptional, and the wine by the glass selection is considered, delectable, and quite reasonably priced. Staff are attentive, professional, and have the type of service that speaks to experience and quality training. The range of food is indulgent and perfect for sharing or for a special occasion, and the atmosphere is very classic, classy, continental, and well maintained. Whether out on your own, looking for a spot for a perfect date, or a group celebration, definitely don't overlook this place.

What a phenomenal and magnificent dinner in a beautiful location. Thank you for having us. Went as a table of 3 for a 630pm booking on a Friday night. The staff were incredibly delightful and attentive. As a group we were torn between the mains and the entrees. As such, 2 of us ordered lots of entrees to share and 1 of us ordered a main of duck. We had the bread (whipped butter was soulfood), olives, Buratta, pork croquettes. The pork croquettes were do good, we ordered another round. There is literally chunks of pulled pork in them and the tomato chutney / jam was a religious experience. I have been to a few restaurants in this area. This one is absolutely my #1 pick. Rather than wine we had cocktails: banana old fashion, high ball, and the pretty pink one. We are regulars at Death & Taxes and these cocktails were in that tier. An absolutely amazing and joyous experience. The outdoor seating was magic. Highly recommend. We are keen to try the burger but also the tasting menu. We will definately be back.
