We had a family gathering here and practically everyone ordered steak - rib fillet, Wagyu, fillet mignon and porterhouse. Someone was heard saying "I didn't expect it to be this pleasant". The sign claims they serve Brisbane's best steaks. The group consensus was that 'best' is a very big call, but they were very good steaks. One of the highlights was the double-baked potatoes. When ordering a steak there is a choice of hot chips or double-baked potatoes. Personally, I tried the battered fish and chips. It was tasty and a generous serve. The salad it came with was lovely - greens, shredded veggies and a sweet tangy vinaigrette. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was only one glitch which happened at the bar. After ordering 5 or 6 drinks, I asked for a tray to carry them all. The guy grabbed a dirty tray out of the sink, shook it, and handed it over with crumbs and all. It was easier to make two trips. The decor has many vintage nudes and bare bottoms all around, so I skipped the photos of those. You will have to check those out for yourself 😆.

Good food & good service, thanks to Brice. Was double charged on the bill for some item but got it sorted out. Was a pleasant experience dining here. Would definitely come back again!

Food was above average - 3.5 out of 5 stars, service was outstanding. Although my rump had a substantial grisly/inedible portion (see pic of steaks ‘ear’) my partners t-bone was perfect. Standouts are the sauces: bernaise & truffle butter as well as the buffalo wings & the mash spud

This place used to be one of my favourites. However we recently visited and I ordered the eye fillet which came with potato and salad. What I got was a tiny steak, half a potato (previously they were whole) and salad covering almost the entire plate, see photo below. The food was great, just out of proportion. While the staff were pleasant they were not very attentive and we kept having to get up and seek them out to order food and beverages.

The steaks were extremely flavourful and perfectly cooked with delicious sides. I can’t go past the twice baked photo and Caesar salad. The calamari with blueberry dipping sauce is a favourite also. All was complimented by the lovely service we received from our server, Michael.We have been dining here since 2000 and have never had a bad meal.
