Just spent 5 nights at this hotel and our stay was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. All staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. Alex on the front desk was exceptional, very knowledgeable, friendly and patient in giving us tips on where to eat, directions etc. Chelsey was our point of contact each morning for breakfast and she and the rest of the crew were very helpful.
Great location, close to everything, new gym, spa and pool were also a treat.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the New York Loft Suite for 3 nights as part of my 20th birthday celebration.
We had a bit of an issue with our aircon upstairs, but the staff were quick to resolve and we were soon moved to an alternate room upon our return. Though we were on the highest floor, there wasn't much of a view as the hotel was surrounded by much taller buildings. Additionally, there wasn't much selection for room service, which was unfortunate.
However, other than those issues, we had a great stay here! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the ambient lighting really brought out the beauty in the space.
Though I wasn't able to utilize the facilites, I want to comment that the gym, spa and pool were all kept very clean and looked great to use. The gym was also one of the most well-stocked gyms I've seen in a hotel.
I would recommend staying here and would visit again!

We came to Adelaide to attend our son's graduation. It was a last minute decision and we booked this Hotel. We have stayed in MGallery before in other cities but not in Adelaide. Property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Our experience from check in to check out was really great. All the team members were professional and courteous. Room had all the amenities which you expect from a premium brand.

We had a wonderful stay at the Playford. The staff were very friendly and the room (we had the New York style loft suite) was so beautiful. All the furnishings felt luxe and the double shower was a great feature. We also made use of the heated pool and spa. And had the buffet breakfast this morning which was delicious with alot of variety. We will 100% be returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Adelaide. Thanks again 😊

The rooms themselves are great. We chose the Junior spa suite and the spa bath is fantastic. I also appreciated having the extra space of a separate bedroom. But I've never had a worse sleep in a hotel, it was horrendous. I was kept awake until 4am by the loud music of a nearby nightclub, and loud drunk people yelling as they walked up and down the street. For how much you pay for a junior spa suite, it's really not okay. I did ask at reception for earplugs but they didn't have any. I did not enjoy my time in Adelaide because I was so exhausted from lack of sleep. I had to cancel planned activities and have naps instead, although bizarrely the room is far quieter during the day than at night. If you're fully nocturnal you'll be fine, but otherwise the good points of the hotel don't outweigh the misery of being kept up til 4am. I can't imagine coming back unless they work on the soundproofing, or provide a steady supply of earplugs for sleeping. A holiday is meant to help refresh you, not send you back home feeling absolutely exhausted by your expensive hotel room. Although it is beautiful, I can't recommend this place unless you're one of those people who could sleep through the apocalypse.
