Clean and comfortable, not a large twin room but we didn't need to spend a lot of time in it. Staff very attentive and helpful (especially when you have a noisy guest next door). Breakfast choices are plenty and it was lovely and the cafe/bar is great for a drink and meal. The only negative is that the street noise is noticeable. even on 10th floor.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ibis Adelaide and will definitely be back! The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in and our entire stay a pleasure. The location is perfect, with everything we wanted to see and do within easy walking distance. Parking was available just a few doors up at the secure Coles car park, which was incredibly convenient and gave us peace of mind while exploring the city. The beds were really comfortable, the room had a handy little fridge, and one thing that really stood out was that the TV actually worked properly! It might sound like a small thing, but we've stayed in plenty of places where the TVs are outdated or don't work well, so it was a pleasant surprise. Overall, we honestly can't fault our stay. Beautiful hotel, great amenities, excellent location, friendly service, and excellent value for money. We'll absolutely be staying here again the next time we're in Adelaide. Highly recommended!

The Hotel stay overall was pleasant to stay at. Great location, short work to everywhere - Peel Street 8mins. Off site parking nice & close, easy access & an ease to leave the City Centre too. The lady who greeted us could at least pretended to play the part, we are guests on Holiday. Every other staff member we met was lovely to deal with. (There 4 nights) Cleaning of the rooms could be better. They didn't check under the bed, we found a cola bottle & an ear plug on the last morning when packing up. They must always vacuum the room with door open, we could see the line of dust LOL & we also coped a puff of dust when storing a bag top shelf. Looks like cleaners only do what they can see. We really enjoyed the dinner we had at the Restaurant, steak was on point. Coffee was very good too. Beer over priced, seems to be the way now days. Room itself met our needs, bed was comfy. Wifi worked great & the chromecast option for the TV worked seamlessly too.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was really easy. The location is great, we could walk pretty much everywhere, and Rundle Mall is basically around the corner. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the view from up high was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly too. Would stay here again.

Dear Hotel Manager / Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at ibis Adelaide, 122 Grenfell St, Adelaide, from 11 July to 14 July 2026, under reservation/room number 203. Regrettably, my experience was marred by a series of significant issues that fell well below the standard I expected. Upon arrival, we were asked if we’d like another room as we in disabled room we thought we might be getting a better room only to almost immediately realised I was downgraded from a king to a queen room without explanation. On entering the room, I found it had not been properly cleaned: the toilet roll holder had been installed backwards, a light fitting still bore the installer's fingerprints, the carpet showed visible staining and marks, and a further stain was discovered on the blanket. Photographs of these issues are included at the end of this letter. When I raised these concerns with staff, I was met with a dismissive attitude that appeared to place responsibility on me rather than address the issues. Most seriously, I became trapped in the elevator after it failed to recognise my room key, leaving the doors closed for several minutes. This was a distressing experience, made worse by not having my phone with me at the time; I was only freed when another guest happened to require the elevator. On reporting this incident to the front desk immediately afterward, the staff member I spoke with showed little concern and again implied the fault was mine, despite the issue clearly originating from a malfunctioning key programmed by the hotel. Taken together, these repeated failures represent a serious lapse in both the standard of accommodation and the level of customer service I received. I would appreciate your acknowledgement of these issues and would welcome a formal response outlining how the hotel intends to address them, including appropriate compensation for the disruption and distress caused during my stay. I look forward to your prompt response just so i can know this has been bought to attention. Regards,

The perfect space for drinks and nibbles with no minimum spend and no hire fee! Sectioned off from the ibis bar for exclusive use, it creates a VIP vibe and easy access to the bar if needed. Some guests may have their back to the screen at capacity. The total capacity of the space is 35 people for a cocktail function.
The Think Tank
For when only the biggest and best will do, combine The Engine Room and The Hub into super space for your next seminar, training session, or dinner event. For cocktail set-up or theater-style, it can accommodate 100 people.
The Engine Room
The same ultramodern interior as The Hub but with ceiling mounted data projector and electronic screen, this room is perfect for a slightly larger consultation, confabulation or a proper conference. This space caters 60 people for cocktail style and 30 people seated.

With high ceilings, natural light, contemporary interior, and an impressive 80-inch high definition LCD screen, you’ll want to choose this room for your next small powwow, talkfest or serious stuff like a board meeting.
