This Hotel pleasantly surprised us on our last visit. We have been living in the area for 31 years and it's had its serious ups and downs over the years. Always has been very hit and miss but wow, what a surprise last week. The Pork Ribs and Chicken wings were great. The Steak was very tender and steamed Veg was fresh and superbly presented ...not frozen rubbish. But it was the grandkids meals that surprised the most. Check out their Meal's on my Photos ! $15 and it came, made with love. They too were blown away. Large Battered Fish and the other was Chicken Nuggets that both came with Chips, a full Salad (not just lettuce and tomato) including Egg (we had to request no egg due to Allergy unfortunately) A Jelly cup with Freddo Frog and a Fruit Drink popper. Blown away. Well done to all involved including the Chefs and Management. 👏 ✔️ If that quality continues, we'll frequent more often.

Although we had a hiccup with the table booking and the TV in the kids room has no volume, the kids plates are absolutely the best idea ever. My fussy kid hates her food touching, loves variety and is a grazer. She picked away at everything (lettuce needs mayo so that was barely touched) and ate it all over the time we were here for dinner. It's a first & not a last. Thanks so much!!!

We went to the Village on Christmas Day for Lunch. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I absolutely recommend this for a stress free Christmas. The meals were large and tasty. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and patient. We were in a quieter dining area which worked well for our older family members. Thank you.

We waited to be seated while the staff chatted and were on their phones for about 5 minutes. After ordering meals and a cocktail, we waited 15 minutes for it to be made while the bar staff continued their socialising and looking at their phones. The arancini balls were nice, then my entré came out at the same time as mains, when I asked why it didn't come out with my wifes entré I was rudely told because it's on the specials list as if that was some sort of justification. The entré was a couple of soggy bits of bread with cheap smoked salmon pieces, nothing special about it at all. The ceaser salad looked like it was a store bought job from Coles or Woollies and of a poor standard. The beef ribs were nice, but the wedges were nasty, soggy, and probably out of a packet and the corn was boiled to within an inch of its life. I don't expect fine dinning at a pub bistro, but surely the $40 special can be cooked and presented better. The bistro was only about 25% full so there are really no excuses for the quality of the service. We will stick to our local from now on.

i had an enjoyable meal until i found some plastic in my food, although a girl working behind the bar (chelsea) sorted it out straight away and made sure i got refunded and enjoyed the rest of my experience. overall the satay skewers were delicious

The Garden Bar comes equipped with a giant outdoor screen, great for those sporting events! You are welcome to book indivudal booths for up to 15 guests, or the Upper Deck area (pictured) can be booked for 50 - 100 guests.
