This Hotel pleasantly surprised us on our last visit. We have been living in the area for 31 years and it's had its serious ups and downs over the years. Always has been very hit and miss but wow, what a surprise last week. The Pork Ribs and Chicken wings were great. The Steak was very tender and steamed Veg was fresh and superbly presented ...not frozen rubbish. But it was the grandkids meals that surprised the most. Check out their Meal's on my Photos ! $15 and it came, made with love. They too were blown away. Large Battered Fish and the other was Chicken Nuggets that both came with Chips, a full Salad (not just lettuce and tomato) including Egg (we had to request no egg due to Allergy unfortunately) A Jelly cup with Freddo Frog and a Fruit Drink popper. Blown away. Well done to all involved including the Chefs and Management. 👏 ✔️ If that quality continues, we'll frequent more often.

Although we had a hiccup with the table booking and the TV in the kids room has no volume, the kids plates are absolutely the best idea ever. My fussy kid hates her food touching, loves variety and is a grazer. She picked away at everything (lettuce needs mayo so that was barely touched) and ate it all over the time we were here for dinner. It's a first & not a last. Thanks so much!!!

Meals were huge!!!! Was super happy with our feed, the serving sizes matched the pricing just perfectly. Highly recommend downloading the pub + app, you can get some really good discounts on food and drinks. Even though I could tell they looked understaffed on this particular day, the staff gritted their teeth and still managed a smile. Can’t wait to come back and try something else

I recently visited the establishment after a long and challenging day at work, and the lovely service lady behind the bar, Shelly, encouraged me to try a Canadian Club topped with lime. She won me over; it was delicious! I ended up having several. It was a really nice afternoon, and I ended up wanting to go home with Shelly. She’s an amazing sales woman and any establishment would be happy to have her. Thank you for making a long shit day, better.

Food was just above average. Side salad was awesome as there was radish which is uncommon but I love it. Chips need a little longer cooking in my opinion. All in all food was good to eat. The people serving need to bloody smile and look like they are happy to be here. However my son got a hair in his dinner the offered another meal however it was near the end and he was already full. So I said there was no point. I have a photo to prove it. But I don't know how to attach. And we both have blonde hair so it's not ours The wait was absolutely ridiculous of waiting for over half hour considering there were staff just wondering around doing nothing and just to order we had wait for like 15-20mins and that was once I asked a staff member if anyone was taking orders. And to top it off we were the only ones in the dining area waiting for food. I don't know or care if I get nothing in return but the staff need to pull their fingers out in my opinion. I don't know care if I get nothing out of this I just care that something gets done so service like this doesn't happen again. Thanks for your time.
