we went there on a Saturday happy hour, even though we booked online beforehand, we didn't have a table ready for us. after bit of confusion we got a table next to the kitchen. Food was really good. we had Lamb Kofta for starters. As main we had Rump steak and steak sandwich. both were cooked to perfection. steak sandwich had a special sauce with I loved. we were still eating the starters they suddenly brought the mains. So couldn't take photos.

Came here for Saturday night dinner & place was vibrant & pumping with people but atmosphere remains relaxed & classy. No trouble makers & plenty of young families enjoying themselves upstairs. Roast lamb was stunning. Yorkshire pudding best I’ve ever had & roast veg cooked perfectly. Steak sandwich’s steak was a tad thick but again cooked med rare & not chewy like other places. Lacked a bit of bacon. Chips were perfect, crisp on outside, soft pillowy on inside, with a special seasoning. Garlic pizza was a great, chewy textural dough, confit garlic was special but seasoning was salty on one side and lacked seasoning on another. Overall, an excellent experience, would recommend.

Every visit is high quality food. Thin battered crispy fish can only be found here. Very good location and friendly staffs.

Generally a good meal and drinks on a Friday night at The Unley. The highlights were the beer and burger combo deal for $22 - bargain. Also the crispy onion rings, jalapeno poppers and Mac n cheese bites were all exceptional. The cocktail of the month - lychee - was a winner, although coming in a martini glad means it's a small serve. Only losing a star as the gnocchi was disappointing, as it was watery and lacked flavour.
