Decent atmosphere service was alright as well nice enough. The issue was the food. Asked to get everything all at once as both small plates were for my mums main as she didn't want to eat much. Not only did it take almost an hr for our first main but my mums smalls came in intervals of twenty mins leaving her to eat alone and just wait for the rest of the time. Personally I asked for steak frites medium rare. Not only did it take almost 50 mins, the steak was tough, definitely not medium rare, not juicy at all, burnt and cold. Definitely was sitting there for a while before coming out. Fries were decent, looked nice didn't taste like anything special. Steak sauce was decent a tad too viscous and cold other than that taste wise not complaining. I mean blame me for thinking highly of a pub steak but with a $43 price tag and almost an hr waiting time you would at least think it would be better than a cheap woolies steak you could make on ur own. Dad ordered a schnitzel wasn't great either salad was genuinely just leaves and cut up veggies. My brother ordered a fish dish I forgot the name of didn't matter anyways as they got his order completely wrong. For the price of everything even a shitty maccas would've been for dinner.

A big thank you to Arran, Amber, Max and the staff at The Unley for helping us celebrate our son's 18th birthday. It was an amazing night our son and his guests will always remember. We booked out the rooftop and upstairs bar area. It was the perfect setting. From early discussions about the event and on the night itself, the staff were always there to help us and were very friendly and professional. If you are looking for a venue for an occasion, I would highly recommend The Unley.

Awesome Parmi freshly made with real chicken. Best fresh salad and hot chips too according to my teenage son. The bar staff checked in on us and made sure we had everything g we needed, even a warm fire to sit beside. Going back again very soon!

Where do I even start. I have to say the shining star of this place is the absolutely lovely lady who works there. We started out in the pokies, and she greeted us warmly and offered us a coffee or soft drink. It went downhill from there. The pokie room was old tired and dated. The lady's toilet was abysmal, old dated and smelt very unclean. We moved onto the restaurant and fortunate enough to be served again by the lovely, friendly lady. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, and hubby had the lamb pie. Seriously the pricing does not in any way match the quality and presentation of the food. The Lamb pie was $32 and hubby said it was just okay. He said it tasted like the meat was pulled of lamb shanks and had some gristle and he could not taste any red wine jus. He also had the smallest amount of mash and peas. He ate it, and it was just okay, but not $32 dollars' worth. My Caesar salad was $35; It was $25 for the salad and $10 to add chicken. The salad was the palest most tasteless salad. The chicken was pale and tasteless and a little rubbery and was dumped on top of the salad in a big chunk. The bacon was pale and under cooked and absolutely tasteless. This is not a place that we have any intention of returning to and not anywhere I would recommend. We don't mind paying the money for decent food, but this place is a little pricey for a pub given the substandard food they are serving.
