Best steak & ale pie I've ever eaten! The service was stellar, and manager Charlotte generously offered to swap my mash with salad, when I said I didn't want my pie with mash. Great bar too, loved the aperol spritz!

24 May 22. My partner and I dined for dinner on a Tuesday night and there were quite a few people were in the restaurant, but it wasn't noisy and service was really good. Staff were very friendly, especially Charlotte and the girl behind the bar. My partner ordered the chicken parma with chips and salad ($28) and I ordered the porterhouse steak on the rarer side of med-rare, with chips and salad ($43). Our meals were lovely and my steak was cooked to perfection. I asked Charlotte to give my compliments to the chef. We enjoyed a bottle of Edge of the World Shiraz Cabernet ($52), and shared 3 pints of white rabbit dark beers ($14.40 each), so good. I also had the chocolate fondant for dessert ($15). Another great venue that we found through a dining app. We stayed out a bit late on a week night on the other side of town, not getting home till 1145pm, but it was worth it and we'll definitely be visiting again.

This place has come a long way since Bridie O’Riley days. Venue: so nice! You can tell no expensive was spared on the renovations on this place. Really cool styling, different areas, with different vibes. Cool for a drink, or dinner, or a night out. Food/staff: delicious, tasty, full of flavour. Decent menu, lots of options. All good comes out quick and fresh. Staff are super friendly and attentive! The barman even made up a drink for me! Was super good too. Place comes highly recommended.

This is the pub to go to when you're on Sydney Rd. We did not have a booking but staff was great in accommodating us and moving a couple of tables around! Food was excellent too.

We booked for father's Day either 3 or 4 weeks in advance and when we arrived, I kid you not, we were seated at a picnic table and chairs from Bunnings. I asked if we could move to an empty table and was told it was booked. No one sat at it the entire time we were there. We were told 'there weren't enough low tables'. Then don't take the booking. We were offered nothing when we complained it wasn't a fair experience for the same price as people on actual seats. We are equally paying customers on a Bunnings picnic table and offered folding chairs. Picture attached.
