Very nice bistro, fantastic view, standard pub fair. We were there for dinner Saturday night with a party of 8 for a special occasion. It took over ½ hour from serving the first main meal to the last and that was with 2 approaches to staff. 1st couple of meals went cold while waiting for the last. Ironically the last meals to come out where entrees (ordered as mains). Also, there was an enormous screen in the beer garden that was casting the brightest light across the whole bistro, very distracting with constantly flicking sports play and uncomfortably bright over the shoulder of those on the other side of the table. On a previous visit for lunch with a party of 3, the kitchen didn’t have 2 of the 3 meals ordered (3 different meals). Experienced similar kitchen issues prior to this. Nice interior, brilliant view, pity about all these other factors. Will avoid in the future.

Coming here for dinner is like coming home after a long trip. Staff are always awesome and helpful. As a semi regular they always remember my favourite table and the food is always top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good price meal. Last time I was in the gaming room Aidan was awesome. Special shout out to him.

We had a group for lunch as I have always had several groups there before the setup was good the drinks were good the food was definitely the worst meals I have ever had in a hotel. I ordered Fish and chips in batter I got two of the smallest grilled dry tasteless fish I have ever had that was just a representative of most of the 32 meals, cooked then left dry out before being served, it was an embarrassment to have taken a group of friends there and the young male waiter matched the food perfectly. Could not care less.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the Shoppingtown hotel. Preet greeted us warmly when we arrived and helped us in pub+. The food was good. In particular the porterhouse was perfectly cooked tasted great. Good vibes and great view ,will be back, such a good night. Thank you.

The food was decent, but the service left something to be desired. When we arrived, there was no one at the entrance, so we headed to the counter inside where orders were being taken. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, we were advised to wait at the unmanned front desk. Another couple made the same mistake and ended up standing there as well. Eventually, someone came to assist, but by the time they seated the other couple whose reserved table had been taken, it was a 15-minute wait before we were shown to our table. This could have been easily avoided with a simple sign at the front saying, "Please wait to be seated," if no one was present. Once seated, we had to return to the same counter to place our order and then wait another 5-10 minutes at the bar to be served drinks. The staff were friendly and tried their best, but the process of greeting, seating, and ordering could use some serious improvement—it felt unnecessarily complicated. The food was fine, though the dining area could benefit from some better styling, as it felt a bit plain. Parking is limited on a Saturday night.
