Venue is very spacious and has a unique vibe to it, there are pool tables, mechanical bull, it’s even fun to just explore all the areas of this building. Cocktails and shots are great, the food selection is decent but there is nothing too exciting unfortunately, the only thing I’d recommend are the fish tacos. Sauce station was full of empty or near empty bottles.

Has it been pulled together in a rush - yes Does it need refinement - yes Is it fun - yes Was it loud - on a Sunday pretty tame Was line dancing fun - hell yes Was the food good - average & expensive Did it arrive on time - Hell no…. (An hour for chicken ribblets, with some confusion) Were the staff good - yes Will I be returning in a rush - only for the line dancing… Some small improvements could really do this place a lot of justice

Had high hopes, sadly let down. The mechanical Bull was “out of order” on my visit, hadn’t seen it posted on socials at that point and had already driven over an hour to visit. Food was average for the price, and most definitely was not consistent in serving size! I ordered the same bowl of chips the woman next to me did, and my serving size was smaller. can’t say the staff even really LOOKED like they wanted to be there. The setup is great, across 3 levels, especially if you have kids to entertain. There is a whole section for them to play whilst you dine, if that’s not enough.. there is also the rooftop which has gorgeous views and 2nd level with pool tables etc. All in all, SUCH a Good concept but don’t think I’ll be back in a hurry sadly.

Fantastic new venue and a great addition to the Footscray scene. Enjoyed a delicious beef burger and fries. Design is great and the venue is a lot of fun including the mechanical bull. Live music offered on weekends. Definitely worth a visit - welcome to Footscray Moon Dog.

I went on a Thursday in late May 2024. The service was good, the food came quick and was yum, and I had a great time. I can understand people saying the food prices are a little high, I think it's worth it considering the scale of this venue - It is huge. I think there's something for everyone here.
