Reviews for SEA LIFE Melbourne

I had such a fun time attending sea life! I hadn’t visited the aquarium in quite a few years and it was such a nostalgic and fun experience!! I definitely would recommend purchasing tickets in advance as the line for pre-purchased tickets with a lot quicker than people needing to lineup to purchase tickets . The aquarium was really informative and they held information groups that spoke about the different types of sea life and she could also touch the shark eggs and the starfish which was included in the interactive information session . Getting to see all the sea life was definitely a huge highlight of my day and I particularly enjoyed seeing all the penguins swimming , cuddling together as well as being fed ! I would definitely recommend visiting with friends , your family or your loved ones !🐟🦈🪼🐙🦞

It was an interesting aquarium with many species of sea creatures that I have and haven't seen before and the place was quite large but there were a few enclosures but the crocodile enclosure was unavailable and in my opinion it was almost worth the $125 we paid for 4 people and the overpriced food from the cafeteria which was mediocre at best. Fortunately we didn't have to go through a long queue just for tickets as we bought ours online and you immediately skip the ticket purchasing queue if you already have online ticket and the penguins were unbearably adorable.

We took the kids to the aquarium today and it was such a great outing. From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed. The young man at the front desk (Alex) went above and beyond to get the kids all excited, giving them a map each and telling them about his favourite things to see. The jellyfish and penguins were definitely a favourite for our kids. Would highly recommend it. Thanks Alex and team.

This aquarium is great for spending time just looking at the fish. It had lots of little areas for kids to go inside and be part of the experience, getting insider views and portholes to see the animals more closely, which makes it more fun. There were a few interactive areas on, with the rock pool area, a fossil finding area, and a magnetic fishing experience. We hired a wheelchair, and found most of the aquarium accessible, however it was a little difficult at one point where we must have missed the signs pointing to the elevator, and ended up going up a ramp. This ramp was not suited to wheelchair users, as it was much too steep. Moving around the cafe was also quite difficult, as tables were close together and crowded, and lining up was not easy in a wheelchair. Overall, I loved the experience of the many giant glass fronts so people had space to spread out and view things, rather than tiny enclosures that force close crowding and jostling to see anything.

Had a fabulous time at the Aquarium. It was quite an accessible place with only a bit of back and forth to get to the elevators. However there are plenty of ramps around the place as well. The animals look well cared for. I enjoyed the talks about the sea life the staff did and you can see the passion and dedication these staff have regarding their animals. These lovely people were also happy to answer any questions you might have. My favourite creatures to see were the sea dragons and the jellyfish! Will always plan a trip to the Aquarium whenever I'm in Melbourne!
