I recently had the pleasure of staying at Balgownie Estate, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The room was absolutely lovely, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We ordered room service during our stay, and the meal was delicious—definitely a highlight of our visit. I also booked a massage at Endota Spa, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. The team at the spa was professional and attentive, creating a serene atmosphere that left me feeling rejuvenated. The heated pool on-site was a wonderful addition to the amenities. We enjoyed spending time there, especially given the cool weather. Our stay was topped off by the buffet breakfast, which was the perfect way to end our trip on a high note. The variety and quality of the food were impressive. Lastly, the staff at Balgownie Estate were warm, friendly, and always eager to help. Their hospitality truly elevated our stay and made us feel welcome throughout. I can’t recommend Balgownie Estate enough and look forward to visiting again soon.

We loved our stay at Balgownie! The team was wonderful, food was good (do try their bread and butter, it’s delicious!) It was perfect for our short stay at the Yarra Valley. Rooms were very spacious, we had 2 televisions, a living room, a bedroom, and a big bathroom. Bathrooms even had a heating lamp! Should we ever visit this corner of the world again I would definitely come back to stay here.

Friends and I came for breakfast, to catch up for Christmas. We chose Balgownie as it had buffet brekky option for the public and a great gluten free selection! Super impressed with that. Great value for money, really lovely (and helpful) staff, plus gorgeous views. I also own Bridal Bliss Nannies so wanted to see the exact location for future wedding bookings. We will be back 💜

Had our work Christmas get together at Restaurant 1309. The food & service were excellent. The 2021 Black Label Shiraz was a perfect accompaniment. The newly refurbished premises were classy with great views out to the mountains either through the large windows or from the outdoor balcony.

Three of us had Christmas lunch at Balgownie Estate and it was excellent. Food was beautifully presented with small separate areas for entree, mains and dessert. These were constantly replenished to ensure food was always fresh. A great selection across all three sections. After a month of noisy pre-Christmas restaurants, the quiet atmosphere that allowed us to hear each other was much appreciated. Staff provided discreet and timely service and are to be congratulated.
