We have just returned from this simply beautiful winery. The room was excellent and had everything we needed. The presentation of the wine tasting was great and made so much fun. The restaurant and the food could only be described as outstanding. What made our experience even better were the staff. Their service , their presentation and friendly attitude really made our stay very memorable. This is an outstanding first class venue and we would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying . To all the staff thank you.

We loved our stay at Balgownie! The team was wonderful, food was good (do try their bread and butter, it’s delicious!) It was perfect for our short stay at the Yarra Valley. Rooms were very spacious, we had 2 televisions, a living room, a bedroom, and a big bathroom. Bathrooms even had a heating lamp! Should we ever visit this corner of the world again I would definitely come back to stay here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Balgownie Estate, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The room was absolutely lovely, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We ordered room service during our stay, and the meal was delicious—definitely a highlight of our visit. I also booked a massage at Endota Spa, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. The team at the spa was professional and attentive, creating a serene atmosphere that left me feeling rejuvenated. The heated pool on-site was a wonderful addition to the amenities. We enjoyed spending time there, especially given the cool weather. Our stay was topped off by the buffet breakfast, which was the perfect way to end our trip on a high note. The variety and quality of the food were impressive. Lastly, the staff at Balgownie Estate were warm, friendly, and always eager to help. Their hospitality truly elevated our stay and made us feel welcome throughout. I can’t recommend Balgownie Estate enough and look forward to visiting again soon.

Took a friend from Italy and his relatives here for a Sunday lunch. Absolutely first class. Only half full restaurant. As only 1 hour from Melbourne with spa/ massage great food wine and accommodation should be full every weekend.
