A great stay! So much, that I returned within a week! The first was a last-minute solo stay and was so impressed that I came back a week later with my family. Staff were immediately welcoming and foyer always had good air conditioning even when Melbourne sweltered on a 42 degree heat (107.6F) day. The air conditioning in my room was also excellent, keeping the space comfortable. There was some hall noise from other guests one evening, but generally quiet. I appreciated how clean the room was, and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. The dining in-house food orders were easy to select and arrived promptly. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of delicious options. After a busy long and exhausting day the in-room spa was also wonderful. I also enjoyed the rooftop pool in the morning, which was a nice way to relax.

You can't beat this location if you’re in town for a show or shopping. The rooms are much larger than your average hotel room and the beds are super comfy. However, the decor is starting to feel a bit dated and could use a modern refresh. That said, everything was spotlessly clean, and the service was 5-star quality. Great value for the price given how central it is. Would stay again!

Ideal location for exploring the fabulous Melbourne. We had a comfortable room up on the 8th floor though it was a bit dark as it overlooked another tall building just meters away from our window. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

We had a wonderful stay at Stamford Plaza Melbourne with our family. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for staying with children. The indoor pool and spa were a highlight for us — clean, warm, and very family-friendly. Our kids really enjoyed it. The staff were polite, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. The hotel is also in a great location, close to public transport, restaurants, and shopping areas, which made everything very convenient. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for families. We will definitely return in the future.

The location is fabulous but after that it heads south. The bed was ok a bit soft. The rooms are tired, strange wooden panel in the kitchen obviously a repair but very rough like that's it we are done. Chipped plates including from room service which was ok. Furniture not very comfortable sofa was a very soft and back swaying. Bath shower a bit dangerous and dated. No dish cloth or brush provided and kitchen tap very short so obviously for a hand basin. Forgot to device the room one day so lied and did a panic service but forgot the kitchen and left us with a hand towel as a bathmat. Bath stains, air-conditioner barley kept up during the day and came good at 2am so always just a bit warm and this was not during hot weather. Not terrible just pretty damn mediocre.
