I have mixed feelings about my recent stay. While the location is excellent and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, the overall experience did not live up to the hype or the premium price point. Several issues detracted from the stay: First Impression: Upon arrival, the front desk area was so cluttered that I was honestly unsure if I had walked into the right establishment. It was a very off-putting start to the trip. Room Comfort & Noise: We were placed on the 5th floor, and the sound insulation was remarkably poor. It was very noisy throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. The bed itself was mediocre and lacked the comfort I expected. Impractical Bathroom: The shower design is quite frustrating. With no partition or splash guard, water gets everywhere, leaving the entire bathroom floor soaked and slippery after every use. Rooftop Access: Despite being a guest, I found it nearly impossible to use the rooftop bar as almost every table was marked as "reserved" at all times. It felt like the amenities weren't actually prioritized for hotel residents. Verdict: If you are paying for a premium experience, you expect the details to be handled. Between the noise and the poor room layout, I wasn't thrilled with the value for money here.

The hotel and its location were excellent. However, it was the people and the outstanding service that truly made the experience memorable and would bring us back again. We were treated exceptionally well, and the team went above and beyond to take care of us while celebrating my fiancée’s birthday.

Was such a nice experience!!!! Booked for the weekend for my sisters 30th birthday. Gillie was kind enough to organise balloons and personal photos put into frames around the room which made the experience really special!!! Amazing customer service and loved the rooftop, bar & deli. Will definitely be back!!!

I stayed here with about 19 colleagues and it was fantastic! I managed to be lucky enough get a beautiful room- the bathtub was divine. What a great experience in a modern, sophisticated hotel in the heart of Melbourne. The staff were super nice, accomodating and just lovely overall! Couldn't fault it ( food, cocktails and bed) and the gorgeous well-being dog in the front lobby was a bonus! Thanks so much QT Melbourne. Bridgitte R.

Stayed a few nights from Xmas Eve. A wonderful modern hotel with an quality industrial chic look about it. The Foyer are public spaces fantastic, quality furnishings, with interesting objects of art throughout, with the staff look amazing in thier funky cool outfits. QT King room had amazing city views. The room very spacious, with many lighting options creating great mood and atmosphere. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Front desk staff amazing, shout out to amazing Sarah for adding some nice touches to our experience along with Gina for her warm hospitality too, along with young Josh whom attended our car. Valet parking a breeze. Friendly security staff too ! Roof Top bar, amazing, very good cocktails and city light views. Pascal Restaurant, very comfortable dining chairs and lots of interestinq wares and oddities to look at, and an open kitchen to observe the action. Recommend QT Melbourne without any hestiation, ( along with QT gold coast where had an equally enjoyable stay in October )
